I think for such a game, playing Cifti would be the text book definition of the correct decision. In theory he should hold up the ball better than Leigh and take the pressure off us, draw fouls etc.

However I dont think that we can drop thumb. He is deadly and is our best threat on the break. He is our biggest goal threat by far but his overall performance is in danger of being nullified, depending on how the game gos.

This is a big call for Ronny. If he gos with either player and the result does not go our way then he is in danger of valid criticism.

 

Only night this week I'm working. This is going to be torture not knowing what is going on.

With the new financial deal for the champions league I am not sure how much each point gained in the group stages is worth but you definitely can win quite a large sum of money with every result you gain in the group stages.

 

spent the entire day at work thinking about this match over n over n over with my day absolutely dragging in...

Really hope we show up tonight and give 110% I think that amount of effort and concentration from us would see us through no sloppy play and silly nervy errors hopefully.

This is obviously just my opinion but, if Griffiths starts and it doesn't go our way then so be it.

If Cifti starts and it doesn't go our way then Ronny deserves all the criticism he gets.

I see some of you doesn't want Izagurre to start at the same time you want us to play attacking and score goals. Izagurre is better coming forward than Mulgrew. I'm pretty sure Izagurre will start, not Mulgrew. Never change a winning team
