Mon the Hoops regardless of who's playing.

Time for discussion after the match for me.

Disclaimer:- Please disregard any of my ramblings if I post during the match, also any mention of Ronny out from me should be taken with a pinch of salt.

    That's the spirit!

To play for a draw is not a good game plan, though I guess we will start solid the first 15-25 minutes, and plan for quick counter attacks. Hopefully we will control possesion before that, and get a goal (or two).
Two goals would be perfect as extra-time would be needed if Malmo
somehow should score 3. But that is an unlikely scanario.

I'm pretty sure we will get several good opportunities within the first 30 minutes, as Malmo need to attack. Having said that, I'm not too sure they will try to start the game as we did at home. Be nice if they did, because they dont' have enough quality to do decent defending at the same time.

0-0 or 1-1 with 10 min to go, and I really would need som serious drugs.

I predict goals in the first half, hopefully we're two up before half time.

Ronny Deila roars Celtic will win biggest match of his career against Malmo tonight

He said: “ It is the biggest game for me and then the next one in Europe will be even bigger. This is a big game for the club and everyone, of course it is.
“We want to get to the Champions League group stage. If we win on Tuesday, we have succeeded in one of our first goals. So it is one of the biggest games of our season. It is very, very important.
“It’s like a final. But for me it is about getting better and better, If we get through, we can then show we have taken another step as a team.

“We are well prepared and looking forward to the game. The goal is to win, of course.
“We are going to win this game. That’s the only thing I’m thinking of. We are going to Malmo to win.
“We can talk about the positive things. We have a very, very good chance

We are good enough to do it. It’s just about going out there and doing it.
“I am very, very positive. We haven’t lost away from for six months. We are coming here with a lead and we showed at Celtic Park we can cause Malmo problems. That’s what we are going to do.”
Deila’s biggest concern is at right back, where Mikael Lustig is strugglingwith a hamstring injury sustained in the first leg. The Swede travelled with the squad, as did Virgil van Dijk who may well be playing his last game for the club.
And the Celtic manager poured cold water on Malmo’s claims that the Dutch defender will be mentally affected by the prospect of heading to the
English Premier League with Southampton when business is completed in Sweden.
He added: “His head is here with Celtic, that’s for sure. He has played very well in the recent games and he will be very motivated going into this one. I have no worried about Virgil whatsoever because I haven’t seen anything until now.
“He is focused. In the home game he was very good, especially in the first half. He was vital for us and he’s going to be very important for us in this game also.
“We don’t need to sell Virgil. Celtic is a big club and hopefully we’ll have van Dijk and Champions League at Celtic Park.

As for Lustig, we will see tomorrow if he is ready or not. But we are taking him with us because he has a chance.
“He hasn’t done any work since he got the injury last week, just rest and treatment.”
If Lustig doesn’t make it, Deila must decide whether to pitch in the inexperienced Saidy Janko or the erratic Efe Ambrose. But he is adamant that neither option causes him a problem.
He said:”Saidy did himself a lot of good on Saturday, he played well. He showed he is capable of doing well in that position.
“We will see tomorrow what we do. Efe has played many fantastic games for Celtic. I know his strengths and his weaknesses. But he is an experienced player.”
Deila was also delighted to see Stuart Armstrong earn his first Scotland call-up. The midfielder was named in national manager Gordon Strachan’s squad last night for the upcoming matches against Georgia and Germany along with five other Celts – Scott Brown, Craig Gordon, Charlie Mulgrew, James Forrest and Leigh Griffiths.
Deila said: “It’s so important that our players are in the national team.

    Love the way he talks

To call him the shittiest player ever in Celtic when given 4 games (scoring 2 or 3) and was out of fitness when he came here, is not fair on him. Berget is'nt a bad player. I've seen him play since he was 15-16. I'm glad Ronny and the players don't underestimate him like you do :86:

Very confident of qualifying tonight. Malmo are very ordinary and didn't show any real guile or creativity. I know that they will have 2 of their better players back, Enoh and Rosenberg however, one has been described as a Neil Lennon type (ball winner) and the other who failed to score for West Brom in 20+ games.

We are suited to a counter attack style and will win 2-1 tonight
