    Not sure.
Concerning Malmø manager Hareide, contrary to what seems to be popular belief here, he has hardly said anything wrong or anything that comes close to an insult.

And the story about the Malmø keeper saying that the Celtic players played like pigs, is completely fabricated bullshit by the fairly shocking Scotish media, as the very word pig in this context, means something else entirely. It basically means that he said that Celtic plays rough and physical. No story at all...

Saying 20.000 Malmö fans are better than 60.000 Celtic fans comes close.........

Playing like pigs means playing dirty also in swedish (or norwegian). If that was what the keeper meant It's just as bad as looking like a pig (which Hareide thought Celtic took it like). Being Norwegian like me you know that being a pig or playing like a pig doesn't mean playing though or hard. It's meant in a negative way. Celtic didn't play dirty, so the whole pig thing is pathetic.

I thought it was a bit embarrasing watching Hareide react the way he did at the press conf. saying that scots have to understand and respect other countries vocabulary etc etc and turn the whole thing the other way, when everyone knows the keeper meant it in a negative way. "They are all pigs" doesn't mean they are though players, but dirty players. IF he didn't mean it that way, he could've rather said he used the wrong word in the heat of the moment or something.

He and also a variety of players did, so please don't back-track for them ( I have the footage to confirm this).

All mouth when they were about to escape but pretty stupid to go down this path as did nothing but motivate the Celtic squad and back room. You'll find the paper cuttings left in your dressing room after the game if all goes to plan........if not good luck in group stages but hopefully you will not be there.

If we go out tomorrow it'll surely be the lowest ebb since we lost the Title on the last day to Deadco in 2011. I can't be * at all with another season in the Europa League.

Come on to * Celtic, get the job done. :shamrock:

I'm fairly certain it's going to end a draw like Qarabag.

Last season's Group Stage was incredibly dull mate. Doesn't feel like a European night when the ground is half-empty. Obviously Inter was a good occasion but it's still not the same.

If we go out again then that's clear regression and the buzz & feel-good factor under Ronny will dissipate.

I enjoyed those games. A proper even contest. We can get a draw like Munich, madrid and man city. It'd be nice to see one of them but frankly I'd give getting humped 5-0 each game a miss.

I enjoyed the Inter game almost as much as Barcelona a few years back would much prefer a decent run in the Europa then getting pumped in the champions league

Yeah because we always get humped by the big teams :97:

Hate seeing people coming out with * like 'well, the Europa League wouldn't be so bad'

    * defeatist attitude. Do ou not realise the magnitude of this game on Tuesday? It's absolutely * massive.

The greatest games following Celtic are against the likes of Barca & Bayern mate. You don't remember games against FC Astra infront of 28,000 for the rest of your life. It doesn't matter if we did get destroyed every game, just getting there alone will make it a successful season. The special Champions League nights are the pinnacle of being a Celtic fan, they're irreplaceable.

Also, we've only ever been properly humped once in the Champions League in 8 campaigns - at the Nou Camp. Not sure why that would change this season.

Exactly. We did take one or two bad enough beatings in our last CL campaign but one was to Barca. I don't think we should fear anyone majorly at the moment other than Bayern, Madrid and Barca.

I certainly wouldn't fear any of the English teams.

Fair dues if that's how you feel. I just enjoy watching us play as many games as possible in Europe. I think that the top dozen or so clubs pull a bit more away from us each season, so if we got 3 of them we'd be whipping boys. But anything can happen at paradise so who knows?

O how I hope your right about that. That would be a fantastic result.

This probably makes me not a proper fan but as soon as we go out of Europe I start losing interest each season when we are winning the league by 20 points.

What's better though? Coming bottom of the cl group getting one gritty draw or progressing to the quarter/semi finals of the europa, and having another 6/8 games to enjoy?
