Neither of those teams look like they deserve to be anywhere near the final.

Dire game, nobody interested in trying to score a goal.

For a guy who was such a flamboyant footballer, Zidane has them playing some pish stuff.

Got the job done mind but my * they have been boring to watch anytime I've seen them. Can't see him lasting long at Real with a philosophy like that.

Great result for City, score draw will see them through. Ronaldo could be the difference maker, though.

To be honest though they've been so inconsistent since the first galacticos side. Maybe zidane coming in playing more sensible tactics is just what they need to have a few consecutive good seasons in a row and try and wrestle back Barca's domination.

Real Madrid have been pish to watch for a long long time. As someone above said the last time they played good entertaining football was probably the Galacticos of the early to mid 2000s, like 2000-2004.

Last time they played decent enough recently was I think when Pellegrino but it was nothing special either.

Real are more a counterattacking team than a creative technicall ball playing team and have been for a long time now. Score a lot of goals but are unwatchable for entertainment. They need a class act in their team like a Zidane, Iniesta, Messi, Ronaldinho type but theres none about really, probably only Pogba would make them more interesting to watch.

I don't think thats all fair, other than the Barca games, in general Real were very entertaining to watch under Mourinho.

Just because it isn't tiki taka doesn't mean its not entertaining or "good football".

I thought they were pish. They don't play with any flair and they don't have a star player or someone who i'd want to watch, I can't get into watching them at all.

They used to have Carlos, Zidane and Ronaldo who either one of you'd tune in just to see every week plus they have Figo, Guti and Raul as well as those other 3. In recent year's they've had nobody you'd really want to watch. Isco who you'd have thought would have nitted things together has never kicked a ball, James Rodriguez who could have been good is the same. C.Ronaldo and Bale are boring players I think, can skelp and header a baw but theres no trickery, class or style about them, Benzema is just a plodder as well who scores goals he's not an Aguero, Lewandowski or Suarez.

Dortmund play better football than them and recently when Bayern had Ribery and Robben they were very good, even now Costa of Bayern you'd watch just to see him also players like Thiago and Alaba. Then theres Barca and even lesser teams like Spurs, Sevilla and Villarreal are good teams to watch.

If I was Real i'd punt Bale and Benzema and go for a couple of players like Pogba and Reus and move Ronaldo up front.

If you look up the viewing figures as well, im pretty sure on Sky Sports anyway dont know about worldwide but Barcelona games get around 3x the viewers of Real Madrid games, so its an actual thing that people don't really watch them.

Without Godín Atlético will struggle I think. He is the organiser and held them together so well against Barcelona.
