Man U really do flatter to deceive.

Hilarious that they had * on the radio talking up utds title chances and possibilities of winning the champions league :56:

    Delusional is an understatement!

Celtic should be an option in the poll.

3-1 United looks like the red was about to call time up

Oh nooooo! That is a killer blow. Poor Brugges, nearly a great result for them. Their fans were fantastic too.

    Congrats Utd

Brugge might have reason to feel a bit hard done by.

That one where they had the ball in the net but the ref gave a foul on the Man Utd keeper. Then obviously right at the end there the ref could have blew for time up before Fellaini scores.

Good result and decent performance from utd, depay had a great game with his 2 goals and assist. Blinds been excellent at cb this season although brugges were poor going forward.

Aye, maybe a wee bit. But their forwards were * poor all night, they kept hitting long balls, passing was atrocious, some of them didn't look hungry enough too...in a CL play off against Man U! Pish team. :smiley-laughing002:
Looks like our chances of getting Mechele went up a bit tonight though. :50: their defence was reasonably good all things considered, goalie pulled off that great save too. But if they want to get anywhere they have to change the way they play and maybe their forwards would get a bit more of the ball.

Man Utd will be lucky to get out of the groups this year if they keep playing like that. There is the clear teething problems that come with a new squad at the start of the season which they'll iron out soon enough but this new pot format and the teams in pot three could push them all the way.

They've already had problems away to Olympiacos and Dynamo Kyiv, Sevilla and Lyon are very tough ties as well. Don't think anyone will want to go to Kyiv right now.

Anyone else here feeling that the Champions League is getting more and more boring? because it's really the same teams that win it.
