If he had half a football brain he'd be able to cope with playing in these important games. If not he shouldn't be playing end of

A second ball came on the pitch. The Malmø player tried to rush to the ball and kick it out and pushed Stefan away. I didn't see what Stefan did to get a yellow though.

 

Some people like a player and can only see the good he does while others only see the negative. Izzy is this player for much of us and I seem to fall into the latter category. I notice every missed bad cross and mistimed tackle and maybe I forget the good.

Personally I would feel more secure with Charlie at LB.

 

Wether it be 3-0 or 3-2 we need another defender, preferably 2, Izaguirre gets caught out of position and skinned too easy at times, I thought the overall performance of the team was good and we should've been out of sight after the first half but we didn't see it out and conceded two poor goals

If we manage to go through which at this point I feel would be lucky then I hope the board invest and don't let it be another out of our depth group performance like the last one

The tie is on a knife edge but some on here are completely overreacting. I'm sure they will be better with their star man, but I've seen nothing tonight to make me think we can't go over there and win the match. The big danger for me is if we try to park the bus and play Ciftci up front.

 

The changes compeltely * us . Lustig, Griffiths , Armstrong replaced by Ciftci , GMS and Ambrose completely weakened us . Ambrose is a * liability and Ciftci was a waste of a jersey when he came on . We lost our shape and our rythym and never got either back.

 

Brown played well except the bad header which caused them the first goal and a sloppy pass in defence first half which could have resulted in a dangerous chance for them if Van Dijk weren't there to stop the Malmø player.

Kidding, but losing that 2nd goal was gutting. Apart from that, good atmosphere and Broony, Forrest and Thumb were all brilliant.

i dont think it makes sense to go and sit back next week,we have to start the way we did tonight and try and take the game to them.if we defend the lead and get to the last 20 mins at 0-0 they will throw everything at us.if they score we have no time to get back in the game either.i think its crucial we score first.

 

They wont beat us next week, not good enough.

Let them mouth off for the next 6 days about what they're going to do to us.

They have to beat us and if we play like we did tonight, that simply won't happen. They never really looked like scoring never mind winning tonight match.

Let's go into the game on Tuesday with the same attitude we had tonight. Focus on feeding Griffiths and he'll give us the goals we need.

 

Quite simply if we can't overcome Malmo over 2 legs then we don't deserve the group stages, they were really poor. I was really happy with how Celtic tried to play tonight, gutted to concede 2 goals from absolutely nothing.
