I wasn't really making a point being honest, I was just sharing the stats from BT on the 2 teams. However given the amount that I have heard about the importance of fitness I would have assumed our team would have covered more distance than them tbh , even allowing for the possession.

If the season finished now malmo would be 5th I struggle to believe the 5th place team in Sweden is better than. The 2nd placed in Scotland

Saying Ronny should go if he doesn't get us through is * embarrassing though, heard all this * last season. We've came a long way since last season and still building. Team obviously needs a bit more financial backing.

Some of the posts in here are embarrassing. Yes, it was * conceding with the last kick of the ball and it means things are far from over, but I sure as * wouldn't trade positions with Malmo.

A lot of folk mentioned at end of first half there are 4 halfs and long way to go. First half we smashed it. Secomd haldlf we created nothing. Griffs header was hardly a chance. They are extremely strong at home and there fans really create a * of an atmosphere.

We need a * of a performance to get through this match. We need to go over there an go on the offensive. our strength shows when we attack and press. We seem to back off at times and slow down too much and it doesnt suit us.

It was well taken by Griffiths but had that been scored against us I would have been * at the defending. Bad defending or good attacking often depends on which team scores. We will naturally look at goals from our perspective.

On another note I hope Mulgrew is in for the return either right back or as a CH who can pass.

    Not sure.
I think it actually is (Malmø is imo going to end up higher than 5th anyway). To be blunt, the Scotish legue is one of Europe`s weakest. Celtic is one of Europe`s better teams, but the league is not. Malmø being well into their season, and Celtic just starting, also most probably plays a role to be fair.

This "first half we smashed it" confuses me as well. Alright, I know we were 2-0 up but I said at half time we were awful and very lucky to be 2 up and someone thought I was taking the *. Saw a few on here saying we were great, eh?

Our first goal was very nice, fair enough. But we were constantly gifting them the ball in our own half. Seriously lost count of how many times we did it. If they were better they would have scored at least 1.

Pretty much the whole match I thought we were sloppy as * and I can't believe we scored 3.

We were just too fast far their defence, split them open.

No, not Mulgrew, he struggled against Inverness can't imagine what Malmo would do to him. Janko RB, just need to make sure Bitton drops off to pick up the ball instead of leaving it to Boyata.

Seems like some in here turns fast on Deila. It isn't far between being a hero and a zero in here.

    Agree with your point Rover.

Malmo are the team with the bigger problems to address next week as they were out played by Celtic for the majority of the match, plus they conceded 3 goals.

You can always tell we're in for a tough night when Broonie runs all over the place covering every position....just as he did tonight. Sutton was correct on BT Sport when he said Broonie should stay behind the ball and not go chasing.....We were 2-0 up at the time. If we play with 2 DMs then we should play with 2DMs. Don't know any successful team that leaves it's back line so exposed especially when we have a CB, playing in such a crucial Champions League game, who until 4 months ago was playing reserve footie.

Efe can * right off to New Orleans with his saxophone. But if we proceed with Izzy next week they will exploit that wing. The wee man is not at the races and has become a liability. Especially last season in Europe. When the ball comes over the top,he looks beat.

Just in. Absolutely dismayed - even after a win.

They work hard and don't gve up but we gifted them 2 goals and the ball is very much in their court next week. We have to go all out straight away and then park the bus (what we should have done tonight).

Lustig out again, so unreliable and yet he's so good. Ambrose is a bombscare, knew as soon as he came on we'd end up in the *. Dunno how we ill sort that defence out. VVD looks classy as ever, will miss him so much when he's gone. Bitton I like but he's really bumbly on the ball, takes ages - noticed it before. He ends up dragging himself into battles he doesn't have to. Izzy, well - guy is just not cut out at this level at all. He's ok but he looks lost, as if he doesn't know what to do.

Overall play was good but we do looked disjointed at times and lacking something and do give the ball away too easy.

Who said Brown was * on here, saw it earlier when I was on quickly? He definitely wasn't. I thought he was class, dictated play alot and kept the temp up.

Overreaction FC. We have a lead, let's go and defend it. Yes, it disappointing to concede so late on and 3-1 would have been a * of a lot more comfortable than 3-2. Fact is, if that game finishes 3-1 then everyone would be on here raving about how good we were. We dominated and we just need to cut out the mistakes.

Bottom line is if we avoid defeat we're in the Champions League. Can we do that? Of course we * can.

Do you guys think Ronny might go for a transfer before the return leg?
