Aye, I just want them beat with a clean sheet, id take a 1-0 if offered now, last minute dodgy penalty, Griffiths skelps it off the bar and it comes off the keepers back on the way down and goes in.

Also hope the fans back the team, last year against Maribor was one of the weirdest atmospheres possibly the weirdest I recall at a game. It was subdued, nervy, there was tension you could tell the fans lacked confidence in the team and the team sensed it on the park - even though we actually got a good result away and most people thought we were going to win the game.

Hopefully tomorrow everycunt backs the team and encourages them.

Malmo aren't exactly a team we should be really worrying about, but we've been a bit slow to start the season, so I'm concerned. Saying that, I still think we'll do them. Just hope we don't shift a goal at home, otherwise that could make things very nervy.

The encouraging thing is though that Kilmarnock and Inverness our last two games for me were our two best performances, although they did have poor errors at the back.

We actually looked to have got near full match sharpness in those games and really should have scored 10 goals between the two games at least. Both games were like 6-2's in disguise.

Aye, the trust wasn't there at that stage last year. Add to the fact we'd already been battered out of it a couple weeks before and Lawwell was deservedly getting it tight for leaving our manager out to dry, and it's all understandable why we weren't all on the same page. Now we clearly are..

    * it but think we'll do it. I'd take a 1 nil right now as well. I think we'll score more than that, just hope we can shut up shop at the other end..

A lot of us seem to feel this way, I understand but I'm totally confident in the lads. They want CL footy as much as us and this tie is the last thing that stands in our way. You hear about players raising their game, for cup finals etc; well I'm sure the lads will go out and give their best performance yet for Ronnie, us and group stage CL football, Ronnie will be constantly g'ing them up about it.
We've had a few dodgy moments so far domestically, even though we're doing well, but the players know this is their chance to secure CL for everyone.
As long as they all go out and give everything on the night in these two fixtures we will pump them. :50:
It might even be the game Shifty breaks his duck, how awesome would that be? :celt_2: On that point, lads, our goals come from all over the pitch so I wouldn't stress over the striker issue too much. Shifty and Thimb have enough about them to score against Malmo, at least. Once were past Malmo, we should be a bit more attractive to any strikers Ronnie and Pistol want to bring in. It's all good troops! Roll on 7:45pm! :shamrock::50:

Had a dream we lost this 0-1 but won the second leg 2-1, Commons with a 94th min scrambled goal. Would take that now, as long as we get through I don't care how we do it. Don't know if my heart would be up for it being that tight.
