I like it, 10 men & goalie when needed.
You might be a bit over confident:86:

Putting Mulgrew at LB is a disaster waiting to happen, IMO

Cannot understand why anyone would play Ciftci tomorrow.

Team for me is: Gordon; Lustig, Boyata, Virgil, Emilio; Brown, Bitton; GMS, Johansen, Armstrong; Griffiths.

Think Commons and Forrest will be very effective substitutes.

Just saw an article saying that Ciftci will start. Obviously not confirmed but it seems that Ronny is sticking to his plan of having Ciftci attempt to hold the ball up. Hope to * that his fitness levels are better, considering that he's not had a game to play since Qarabag.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Ciftci get the nod. What a game to signal your arrival.

    Gordon

    Lustig Virgil Boyata Izzy

    Bitton Broony

    Forrest/GMS Johansen Armstrong

    Griffiths

Ciftci had his chance to score against Stjarnan & Qarabag and failed. Too risky playing a striker who's not scored yet in our most important game of the season. Griffiths is in good form, everyone in the team knows how he plays and the runs he likes to make. Ciftci is still new and most players are still getting used to his play style. Griff has to start IMO.

We need to take at least a 1 goal lead over there because they have a very good home record. * a 0-0 as some people are suggesting.

Going for a 2-0 home win, don't care who scores.

    Mon eh Hoops!

If Thumbinho doesn't start then he must be wondering what he has to do, the wee mans attitude has been brilliant he's knuckled down and banging in the goals and I believe in a game as big as this we should be playing our players in form.

Start Commons and get him feeding the ball through to Griffiths. No way would I play Ciftci. I understand why you might want him in the away game, but we're at home and we shouldn't treat Malmo like a crack European team. Playing too cautiously at home lets them off the hook big time.

I daresay they would take a 1-0 defeat right now and try to beat us at home. We need to make our home game count.

I don't think it's personal on Leigh. But would you play him 3 games a week, when you have just forked out on 1.5 mill for another striker?

Ronny wants him to get his goal at celtic park. If he doesnt score tomorrow, leigh should start next wednesday.

Agree with the team except for gms over Forrest.... I'm not saying Forrest is better but his current form is. Think he will run riot against these. That being said I wouldn't mind gms starting either. I'd like to see griff ahead of ciftci but sub him on t around 70 mins... If Forrest starts gms will be a great late sub (vice versa) and I think commons will also feature

GMS over forrest any day. Why? Because GMS can finish. They are both fast, but forrest gets frustratingly sloppy when he should score.

Id play Forrest over GMS as well I think a fit and in form James Forrest is a very good player and as much as I like GMS he seems to have went right off the boil.

I dont think it would be a bad result.
Not particularly. They have only won 10/20 home league games, so a score draw over there wouldnt be out of the question.

Id prefer a win obviously, im only saying i wouldnt be too despondent with a 0-0.....and would still feel we would go through on the back of such a result

Neymar did this and Neymar did that.

Reality is, we were very much in the tie until Brown KICKED Neymar and was deservedly sent off.

Getting a 0-0 then winning 1-0 wont inspire me with much confidence in the group stage
