I'm buzzing for this game, picked a ticket up yesterday.

I've been in a good mood about this one, maybe the lack of traveling compared to Qarabag and our record against sweedish teams. Anyway I think we we will score 1 or 2 and keep a clean sheet as the away performance against Qarabag gives me hope as long as boyata stays switched on. Really if we can't beat Malmo we shouldn't be in the champions league.

We're not used to teams sitting back? That's what most teams do against us.

I took it he meant the opposite way about there.

Ok. Just translated the article anyway. Berget speaking like an underdog.

Must be a bad translation. Berget says "When away teams come to Celtic park and dare to play their own game they get in trouble (Celtic that is). They're not used to that".

I love it when folk attack us at Celtic Park, so much room to play in.

Mikael Lustig is first to address the media at Celtic Park ahead of tomorrow's clash against Malmo.

ML: "Malmo quite a new team. When you do well in Sweden always going to lose a few players, but they have brought some in.

ML: "They like to play positive, attacking football so it should be two good games. Here at Celtic Park we should be favourites."

ML: "Both teams have Norwegian managers and like to play football on the ground, get the full-backs forward & play positive football."

ML: "Malmo struggled a bit at the beginning of the season but they look stronger now so it will be tough."

ML: "We have been solid in Europe so far & played very well in defence against Qarabag. Confidence is good now so I feel we are ready."

ML: "All the players & fans and everyone around the club want the @ChampionsLeague

ML: "We have become a better team since last year and were close to winning the treble."

ML on Markus Rosenberg's absence: "When Marcus came to Malmo, he showed he is a quality player. Captain and been around Europe."

ML: "It's a big bonus for us but they have good players coming to take his place.

Manager Ronny Deila then spoke to the media about Celtic's #UCL preparations for the Malmo match.

RD: "Feeling great, good preparation from a good game on Saturday. Everything is possible now.

RD: "Most important to win and get a good result. Getting a clean sheet is also very important in European football."

RD: "We have done very good defensive work in Euro matches so far & if we do what we did against Qarabag again we have a good chance." (MH)

RD: "Malmo have done very well in the last three years and I have a big respect for the club."

RD: "We are going to face an experienced opponent in Europe, who also had a fantastic period in the '80s with Roy Hodgson.

RD: "But we also know that we are Celtic, a big club in Europe.

RD: "We have had a good season so far and we are very well prepared for the game tomorrow and really looking forward to it.

RD on Markus Rosenberg: "He’s a good player and he’s their captain so it’s always bad to lose your captain.

RD: "But it’s about the team and they showed a good team spirit in the last game.

RD on crossing swords again with Jo Inge Berget: "I have a good relationship with Jo- Inge and have known him for many years.

RD: "He had to come to Celtic at a very tough time and the football in Sweden is more suited to him than British football.

RD: "We want to get into the @ChampionsLeague That’s the goal and now we are two games away from reaching it.

RD: "We have to do the best we can be. If we are at our best, it will be tough for Malmo as well."
RD: "I trust my team. The team is in good shape and has a lot of confidence.

RD on transfer speculation: "When something is done we will say something. This is not the day for discussing transfers.

RD on @ScottAllan_ :"He is among the 20 so we will see if he takes part tomorrow."

RD: "Some people have been giving him stick. You can guess who it was but I won't answer! But this is no problem, just funny."

RD: "He's a football player and we have seen that in training already, happy to get him into the squad.

RD on Kris Commons: "He's ready for tomorrow."

How big of a miss is Rosenberg for them? Is he their best player?

Love the way he cuts down any questions on transfers, rumours or media spin on players (Allan). Gets straight to the point just like he ripped McInnes the other week for being a hyporitical *.

Based on what I've read and the Malmo fans on here I'd say yes, certainly in an attacking/creative sense.

Rosenberg won't be a problem for Virgil and Boyata as long as they are on their game, would of been interesting if he was playing tomorrow, just need to see how good he is in the away game.

Why is he missing anyway? Accumulation of yellows?

Thanks, that can only be good for our clean sheet prospects and the fact he's the captain too, hopefully we can take advantage and get a 2 goal cushion.
