I'm worried about that, along with the fact that we have Ciftci and Griffiths to get us the goals we need.

It's a conundrum isn't it? Griffiths will get goals if you give him chances and will get in the right positions to be given chances too, but it will make it much harder for our midfield to control the game and so might lead to a much more even game than I would like.

With Cifti, I'm fairly confident our midfield will overpower theirs and grab control of the game; but I could still see us losing due to him missing a hatful of chances and us giving away a stupid goal.

Let's put it this way: if we had Denayer and Guidetti (yes, really), I'd feel pretty confident. As is, I don't.

Guidetti was a *, but I feel he was much better than any of the forwards we have at present. Much better.

For me few selection headaches for ronny to consider- does he go with mulgrew over izzaguirre, forrest or commons over gms and griffiths or ciftci. If he gets thoses decisions right then i can see us takin a 2 goal lead to sweden.

Major attitude problem but you're right, he was. Did more in 20 minutes against Inter than Griffiths in 70.

It's not that Griffiths failed to score in 70 minutes against Inter, it's that he never even looked like scoring. They had him in their pocket and it really wasn't a good defence by the standards of a club like Inter.

By contrast Hooper failed to score against Juve, but that really was a top quality defence and at times they had to foul him, they didn't look 100% comfortable, albeit they handled him well.

Agree in most parts with the above but not the scoreline. I'd grab at a 2 goal lead but just can't see it unless we play really tight/well and Malmo are sloppy/dire. Against decent teams we're too open at the back line, don't defend well and depend heavily upon set pieces for our goals. I can see them scoring twice on Wednesday, which doesn't fill me with too much hope for the Group Stages.

We don't deserve be in champion league. Sell our main players year after year and replace them with projects again. Ajax does the same and they out champion league now.
What has Peter and Ronny done in transfer window this summer to make us a champion league team again. Defeat over two games will put Ronny under major pressure.
He had easy ride first year as everyone gave him time to settle in and get team playing his way. This is experienced European team he has to work with now.
Most off the team has played in Europe for us for few years.

Sorry mate, but that's mental. We deserve to be where we are because we've won the ties to get us here.

If we beat Malmo over two games we'll be fully deserving of being in the Champions League.

The first game will be the crucial one. Away Malmö is playing like shy rabbits. You will see.
I think, we have a good chance for winning the domestic game 3:0. Then Malmö is already out and we are there were we belong

See you use word if we beat Malmö.
It should be easy game for us and not a if we win.
    The was my point.

    Berget..

    Hello all Celtic fans!

I must say that Berget came to Malmo as a striker, and he did really well the first games. 7 goals in like 7 matches or something. Then something happened and he was rubbish! I was the first to say, bench that player! But recently, something changed, Hareide made him a leftwing instead, and suddenly he´s * awesome! Look at the game against Salzburg, he´s a * machine! So just saying that count him out yet, I´m sure you will get pretty surprised, that he´s actually good!

I may be over thinking this, but I'm worried about Brown's fitness ahead of this match. Him being subbed off yesterday makes me think that he's not 100% yet and I fear that the time between today and Wednesday may not be sufficient recovery time for him.

Why should the champions of the Swedish league be an easy game for us?

What I meant was, we are a much better team that's when we played Salzberg. I think we'd comfortably beat them at this point, we're so much better and stronger overall. :50:

Brown getting subbed was purely precautionary because Inverness kept kicking * oot him
