Some of the Inter fans took go-pro's in when they were over, should be fine.

i really hope our players put in a good performance at home.. we need at least 2 goals to go over there..

i think malmo are a decent outfit and lets be honest, apart from Gordon, our defense looks like they cant concentrate for 90 mins. Any lapses will be punished and a clean sheet is very important.

we need to Qualify or our season will start on a very very flat note

Main thing is to keep a clean sheet . 0-0 wouldn't be a disaster imo .

i would like to see us take a 2-0 lead to the return leg but have a feeling that malmo will score.. 1-1 will put us under pressure and even 2-1 may not be enough..

i just don't trust our defense.. we have been lucky in quite a few matches and i think malmo will punish us for any lapses.. Craig Gordon may well be the key player for us. i expect a very tense 180 mins

JUST GET INTO THE GROUP STAGE.. i dont care about the performance, only the result matters at this stage

We were never getting any players in for this as want to wait until we have champions league money to get better quality players

0-0 at home would be pretty close to a disaster :smiley-laughing002:

Ticket sales look good for this so far and I'd imagine we will shift a load more with today's match being at home.

People need to accept the reality that the board will not start buying better players until we have a proper domestic challenge.

Right now, and for the past four years actually, the board have been more than content to sit on their money, knowing that we will win the title comfortably, as well as one of the cups.

It's not the same as the MON days, when the scum were strong (due to cheating of course) and we had to spend in order to keep up with them. We rule the roost now, and the players we have are more than good enough to win domestic trophies.

We have raked in millions of pounds in player sales the past few years, starting with McGeady for £9.5m in 2010. The vermin died in 2012 and we've had no challenge since then. Forster was then sold for £10m and Wanyama for £12.5m.

That's before you factor in money from UEFA for CL qualification and getting to the last 16 under Lennon.

Rest assured, we have LOADS of money. We are doing brilliantly financially. But right now, there is no need to invest in higher quality players, paying bigger transfer fees and higher wages, when we can sign the likes of Allan, GMS and Ciftci and still cruise to the title.

I always assumed that the Champions League was our financial target? Winning the title is great, but it means * all financially unless it's the springboard to Champions League qualification.

Our European ventures since the scum went into liquidation have been pretty decent.

They went under in June 2012, we got to the last 16 in December 2012.

We then qualified for the group stages again in 2013, resulting in yet more financial rewards.

Last year was a pretty poor year, but you could argue that it was a bit of a transitional period, and Deila had yet to really make his mark on the squad by the time the qualifiers came around.

He hadn't had enough time by that point to stamp his authority. Rome wasn't built in a day, however he quickly improved the fitness and performance of the players at his disposal and we began to see the rewards of that around November last year, qualifying from the EL group stages.

As it stands right now, we've negotiated two rounds of qualifying this season and are now in a good position to qualify for the group stages yet again. A two or three goal margin of victory against Malmo this coming week will mean we just need to go over there and keep a clean sheet, maybe even nick an away goal.

Another Qarabag away performance and we'll be fine.

That defence that played against Killie won't start this one.

Problem is, I'm not confident of us sticking three goals past anyone without reply, never mind Malmo.

I'd be more confident if Ronny was willing to go two up top, but it's doubtful.

    Not impossible though.

Slightly concerned about our slackness in the past two games ahead of this.

Hopefully it will be eradicated. Bit of slackness in the SPL, we can afford long term, however in Europe we will be killed.
