Which means you guys have nothing to lose, which makes you even more dangerous.

I don't have the most confidence in our team in Europe but from what I've seen, we've learnt a lot from last year and if we both play to our strengths then I think it'll be a Celtic win (but not easy).

Iv watched a fair bit of Malmo over the last year and I said to my mate they were the one side I didn't want to draw, their a good attacking football playing side who can and will pose us a lot of problems, reading a few comments on here some of our fans seem to think this game could be one of the easier ties and I think it will be far from anything easy, to beat this team we will need to be at our best defensively to shut them out and at our best in attack to put them out.

Would like to say to all our vänner from MFF: welcome. I am also a malmobo. I haven't lived enough here to have more "kärlek" for Malmö than Celtic so I will obviously be against you this time. Hope all thw best still.

How is Bangura regarded in Sweden as a player? Seen he's back at AIK.

I'd be happy with 0-0 draw seeing how big of an European powerhouse Malmo is.

Some words on Malmö FF being over-confident or "smug" as some of you put it, coming from an MFF fan...

To understand MFF you need to know where Swedish football has been coming from this past decade and a half. We were so bad that our champions used to qualify against such mighty clubs as Cork City and Ruzomberok and get completely destroyed. Slowly, this crap level football became the mold from which all Swedish clubs were formed. It was always in the air that our clubs would fail in Europe, even when we were matched against FC Thun in 2005 (a worthless Swiss countryside club) we lost 4-0 on aggregate!

When MFF played Sparta Prague at home last year, turning a 4-2 defeat into a 4-4 draw (and advancing on away goals) we saw for the first time in a decade a Swedish club that could deliver against Europe. By knocking out Salzburg we proved that the Sparta game wasn't a fluke. In the Champions League I myself could barely believe that we beat Olympiacos, that we could hold off Atletico Madrid for 45 minutes in Spain or Juventus for 60 minutes in Italy! We completely shattered the mold last year.

So when we say that we're confident against Celtic it's not that we look down on you. We know who you are and what teams you've beaten. But you must understand that we the fans, and definitely the players, fully believe that anything could happen now. 2014 proved to us that we're far more capable than we had thought. It also confirmed a suspicion we've had that Swedish football is on an upward trajectory, admittedly from a very low level.

    Looking forward to the play-off.

Would be delighted with 2-0 at home. A clean sheets vital! But 2-0 the tie is far from over, but would be brilliant result all the same.

Would love it if we won 3/4 nil but the team would have to put the shift of the Celtic careers in. The fact that we are at home first is a disadvantage already, being seeded should mean your away first.

Think I want Griffiths for this one. Commons is a must as well:

    Gordon

    Lustig Boyata Van Dijk Izzy

    Brown Bitton

    Commons Johansen GMS

    Griffiths

I think you'll see Cifcti selected though. Not neccesarily a bad decision but I want the more threatening player at Parkhead, which is Griffiths. Away from home I'd want Ciftci to play.

Griff better start this yin! Keep Ciftci for the return when we'll sit in a bit and he can use his presence to bully *.

Start Commons behind Griffiths, cause we know how vital he is in these tight games.

    2-0 :shamrock:

Commons was absolute pish on Sunday out wide, use him as a sub, we need pace on the wing Armstrong if fit is a definite starter.

Commons scores and sets up goals. I'd rather have a goal threat than pace that doesn't really do anything.
