Sorry mate. I see why you think this, but you're logic is flawed. The TEAM is scoring, and in that regard Cifti as part of it IS doing his job. If he's freeing up space for our midfield to run into to score/provide vital assists he's every bit as important a striker as Griffiths.

Is he that important though? Well, jury's still out i think. He's Definitely not as bad as some are saying, but not what we all hoped he might be just yet.

I think Cifti breaking them down for 60mins, followed by Griffiths and Commons coming on and shredding them for the last 30 is working well, and is shrewd at this point of the season. And i actually think that once Ciftci breaks his duck/gets fit/both he'll get much better too.

Long story short... I trust the management to manage the team in the best way. If the think one over the other, they have my support

 

It's a tough call isn't it? I'd like to see Griff start the home leg, it's a shame he had to go off against Ross County so early, would have been good to see if he would bang in a couple more. I think if we're going out there with a lead then start Shifty for the second leg. He will come good with goals eventually, but as has been mentioned, he's here to bring more than just goals.

Ciftci doesn't look fit, and the fact he won't play again until this game won't help matters. I think Griffiths has to start in the home game.

Possibility of two day trip charter flights going. If both go then 1000+, but most likely only one will go and so will struggle to hit 1000.

 

Having a manager from that part of the world should be a huge plus for us in how approach the tie.

Celtic has been in many Swedes hearts since Henrik Larsson played there. After a history dominating Allsvenskan in Sweden aside with Göteborg, most Swedish teams will love you even more if you beat us, apart from Malmö that is.. :icon_mrgreen:

My guess is that we will almost fill up our given quota at Celtic Park. Will you fill up yours? And by the way, any special pubs to visit/avoid when we are there?

I think they go on general sale on thurs.
they giving season tickets holder a chance to buy 4 extra tickets on Wednesday.
