Are other people smarmy and superior-feeling or are Scots just pessimistic and inferior-feeling?

What makes them so confident they will beat us?

They did really well against Red Bull Salzburg, but at the same time they're lying 4th in the Swedish League. Not exactly La Liga.

We certainly have better individuals, they simply don't have guys as good as Gordon, Van Dijk and Johansen imo.

Qarabag did all the talking ahead of the matches in the previous round, and look what good that did them.

We have a few extra games in between to capture more match fitness, and we'll have a great chance of taking a lead over to Sweden.

They are a decent side, but I'm confident we're going to qualify.

They beat salsabergs, even 2nd division teams can beat us on am off day. That's all. We should pump these and send a message out to them.

Confident we can have another classy road performance. I'd be confident a win at Celtic park will see us through.

after yesterday i hope and assume we still have a few more gears to go up, we need to raise the tempo of our game going forward, but im confident this has still to come.

Yesterday had no Scott Brown and Johansen sitting deep. Two very big parts to our tempo being so high is Broony in midfield and Johansen's pressing further forward.

I wouldn't be too concerned about that.

that said, it was not as high a tempo in the 2 games before were both played, as i said im sure we have a few more gears to go, but we will need to be at our best in time for this.

True, although I think we tried to reign it in, in the heat of Baku. County game the tempo could have been better but 2 games are a massive thing towards match sharpness at this stage of the season.

im also not sure the ciftci suspension is helping matters, as middle to front him and griffiths style of play could no be further apart, and at this stage of the season players are still finding there feet, and for that focal point to be changing each game, it must be frustrating for ronny and the players, maybe not frustrating but its no ideal.

cifcti is being thrown in cold for the biggest games of our season, and he has yet to score a goal, that must be massive pressure on him, and i assume with each game that passes the pressure gets more, and at the same time the games become more important.

Can't see Ciftci starting these games, not after Griffiths gets three games under his belt.

I would be very very surprised if Ciftci started the first match.

i would be more shocked if he did not start, i feel ronny has made that clear, but i no exactly were you are coming from, this is why i posted that this situation is far from ideal.

Griffiths MUST start in the home leg.

We need goals, and so far, Ciftci isn't giving us them.

It's fine to say that he's still settling and finding his feet at a big club, but we need to win by at least two goals in this game, and Griffiths is the man who's been scoring consistently for us over the past year.

Malmö are much better then those two teams. Actually lightyears better. But that i am basing on Malmö last season, and now they have many new players. They are a bit like us in the way that the crowd is their 12th man. Really fierce atmosphere.
