"They play a typical British style of football - strong endurance, a lot of long balls," he said of the Glasgow side managed by Ronny Deila.

Quote from Djurdic. Really bored of hearing this.

I hope they all think that's how we play. In for a big surprise.

Don't think there's too many on here underestimating them. I'm not anyway!! However i think the quality of our league is fairly *. I also think that the level at the top end of the swedish league is probably on a par with our own so therefore i think the Swedish league is fairly * too!! :icon_mrgreen: The swedish league probably has more depth but i believe the best team from both leagues is Celtic.

If both teams performed to the best of their abilites i honestly think that Celtic have the better players and team and will win. That's not slating anyone but just the way it is i believe.

ps-you make a lot of valid points about Berget! Are you his agent???

Good. I'm glad they think that, it means they are clueless as to who they are up against on the pitch. Will only help us.

What the * is there hard to understand? I'm saying that if we can't beat a team like Malmo we don't actually deserve to be playing in the Champions League. This draw isn't as tough as some we've had in the past.

Got my tickets today, don't understand why they can't just activate the season tickets the way they have done with people on the HCTS. Easy way to charge me an extra £4 on postage?

Got tickets, what is this 'internet charge of £3' i always thought it was cheaper to do via internet with no postage costs?... I smell a con!... Anyway, we must beat them at home, i think we need a 2-0 score because they will be right up for it over there,... Its going to be difficult, we need to have a really good performance at home... Come on the hoops!

This 'long ball' * is interesting. They clearly haven't been studying us. We play such a compact, short-passing game with a high press. I can't wait for this one now.

I went and cancelled my return train ticket to come home 2 days early. There's no way I'm missing this one.

Don"t know if that was ironic. No wonder a norwegian following him for years knows him better than folks on here, and defends him when people call him atrocious (when he's not). He is a much better player than he got to show at Celtic, for obvious reasons that Michey wrote above. He is only 24 so It's not like he can't develop further.

If some in here wants to underestimate Malmø because Berget plays well for them, then go ahead :86:

    anyway...Celtic will win :)

I think there is a few Malmo fans overestimating their team as well though, seen them last in the Champions League a solid team and I would around same level as Celtic as in both teams have a ground that no team looks forward to visiting. Will be a good match but I think Celtic have the edge with our pace and energy over the pitch.

Was he no talking about in his own experience against us? Otherwise he's based it on 1 game in adverse conditions. An amateurish statement if it is, as we are anything but a long ball mob..

    Haha, I wish I was!

No, but seriously, It is just that I have seen a lot of people on Twitter and on this forum that have rated him the worst Celtic player ever, and I can not really come to terms with that, as he never got to show his full potential at the club. People, if they have a little bit of football knowledge, should know that.

When it comes to the game, I agree with you a 100 percent. Celtic are favorites and all the pressure is at Deila´s men. If Malmø go through, that would be a major upset for the Celts and a massive bonus for the Swedes, IMO.

Michey - Who is a bit torn on this one, but really looking forward to some cracking games :)
