This is potentially one if the stupidiest things im about to say, or i may have a point im unsure.

Will Ciftci play better than griffiths in the heat? It'll probably be about 28 degrees at kick off.

A big problem at the warmer temperatures is not just the heat it's the humidity and isn't so easy to replicate. No idea on the humidity over there so don't know if this will even be a factor but it's another thing we need to be aware of.

I think we'll be fine, its not as if the Qarabag team are super athletes who love playing in high heat on * pitches.

The game will probably be played at a slow pace which will suit us as we're a better team with better players than them.

The closer this game gets the more I start to have a bad feeling about it. It sounds as though neither the conditions or the pitch are going to be ideal. The pitch may well be the same for both teams but they'll be a lot more used to the heat than we will. We won't be able to play at our usual tempo if it's roasting hot and humid.

I don't care how ugly it is, I just hope we get through this one.

I wouldn't say that's stupid? I would expect people from warmer climates to cope better with heat. I think GMS will struggle, he always looks knackered and he doesn't look like he can handle temperatures that high.

Boyata, Bitton, VVD, Ciftci would hopefully be better equipped but Brown, Armstrong, Commons, GMS, Griff, Lustig would struggle.

I dreamt Qarabag beat us 3-2 for some reason. Bitton scored and Ambrose missed a chance is all I remember I haven't dreamt about a match in ages but I'm really worried about this.

Belgium and Holland arent exactly warm. Ciftci yes is Turkish but he has spent the last few years in Holland and Scotland.

Strangely, despite knowing it's a potential banana skin, I'm fairly content with this game.

Been a weird thing for a long time under Deila, I never feel as if we're just not going to turn up. Even if we have a bad day at the office there will still be total effort and against an inferior team that should suffice.

Away in Europe especially. Barring a sending off or dodgy penalty, I think we'll play almost as well away as at home.

I'm going back and forth constantly on this one, at this moment in time I'm feeling quite positive about it though. I would start Ciftci because of the pitch and the fact that Griffiths took that knock, though would definitely give him at least 30 minutes. Bit worried about the left side, no guarantee Izzy's 100% and even when he is he's off form. Still, we should have enough to go through as long as we're set up correctly and are switched on from the first minute to the last.

    Gordon
    Lustig Boyata VVD Izzy
    Brown Bitton
    Johansen Commons GMS
    Ciftci

Lets remember we went at them and they had few chances. We were clearly the better attacking and dominant team. They passed around in their own half because they couldn't get past us.

    We're gonna beat them 2-0.

With the pitch not in the best condition to play on the deck expect Ciftci to start, go direct and balls over the top, good thing is they don't have much height in their team to do the same. Will be interesting.
