Surely a bogging pitch would be worse to play on? Although saying that, you're less likely to get injured on a muddy pitch than a rock-hard one.

A pitch suitable for the Lisbon lions

If it's good enough for the golden oldies am sure our bhoys will cope

    Would go with :

    -------Gordon
    Lustig--Boyata--Van Dijk--Ambrose

    ----------Brown--Biton

    Johansson-Commons--GMS

    -------------Griffiths

We need guys who can defend first and foremost at the back. Ambrose is less of a liability than Izzy for me at the moment

I feel armstrong hasnt performed well enough to be starting this game and Commons has been at this level many a times and been the main performer. Johansson and gms can both work the wings defensivley and in attack. Commons also bring set pieces which are far better than johanssons.

I fancy us to win 2-0. I reckon they are going to start off playing it tight and frustrate us for the first 30 but when they start going forward a little more Celtic will exploit it.

I would like to see us move the ball forward a little quicker than what we were doing last week particularly when we get possession back in our half whilst Quarabag are out of shape.

Qarabag will need to play cautiously throughout as well knowing that 1 goal from us effectively ends the tie.

It'll likely be a nervy encounter with it staying goalless for a loooong time.

Or we smash three past them in the opening 10 minutes. :bbpd:

I think Qarabag will come out and go for it, press us a lot higher up and open up the game, they know they will only get a few chance at most if they sit back. Expect goals that's all I'm saying.

Word on the street is UEFA might cancel this.

There's a story brewing just now, should be available in the next hour.

Ok, it's gone 11. I'll elaborate. If UEFA go through with what they are planning then Celtic and Deila have every right to feel aggrieved.

If they have to cancel this match Qarabag should be chucked out.

    * embarrassing that a team in the CL qualifiers haven't got their pitch in order.

If we've flown out and there's been no checks on the park and they were aware it was in a bad way then Qarabag and UEFA are both a shower of *.

I thought this mob were flush? They look as amateurish as a pub team right now.

If they do a Stjarnan and score early then we are heading up the creek...

A few people speculating that we won't be allowed to train on the pitch.

Surprised that the pitch is in such a bad state that the match may be canceled. Isnt their staduim not the national stadium?

Think the game may be moved to different pitch and as a result earlier kick off time. Would mean hotter conditions. Only guessing tho

Several posts have been deleted. If you want to debate beer festivals do it in the pub section not Celtic chat threads.
