Could we build around Tierney as a future captain and McStay?

    A few years could see:

    Gordon/new keeper

    Janko Simunovic O'Connell/New CB Tierney

    Armstrong Henderson

    Forrest Christie McGregor/Allan

    Griffiths

McStay's a bit old now mate, don't think he has the knees for it.

He's not even played 10 games yet, far too early for future captain talk.

I seen that Kieran Tierney thing at the time. My stream wasn't showing the pundits at HT just a camera behind the Celtic support giving me the full HT show.

Was * * myself when they celebrated his goal. :smiley-laughing002:

Hear it all the time in Holland and Germany.

I quite like it...not sure about using it with his name mind.

Two assists for a defender, that's brilliant. Was one of them for Nesbitt too?

First couple of times I seen him for Celtic it looked like he wasn't up to much at all. I think many agreed. It's amazing how much he's shown in the past few weeks

I think in the first couple of games he was just making sure he defended well & didn't do much going forward. Now he has shown that he can do both really well.

Genuinely love this boy. Such a quality player. How good is he in the tackle? Superb to watch. Best player on the park in that first half..

Get the kid's in. Him, Nesbitt, Christie and some newer boy's with something different and a bit of hunger like Allan..

Aye good to see him steaming into tackles, quality tackles too. Thought he was quieter than usual going forward but played solidly.

He's been outstanding. As McGuire says, get Nesbitt and Allan plenty of gametime and lets see more of this hunger in the first team.

Cracking player and very exciting prospect.

His tackling is superb. Don't often see full backs getting stuck in and actually defending as much as attacking any more. Plus he is very dangerous when he gets forward.

Time to start giving our younger/hungry players a chance, for sure. Allan was getting stuck in and looking for the ball tonight - which can't be said for Armstrong or GMS. Aidan must be close to the first team as well. Give him a few games to see how he gets on.
