The only one who can hold his head high.

Put some experienced pros to absolute shame. Socks were at the ankles come the end of the game, a good sign.

He's a brilliant player. He's one of our own and plays for the shirt and you can tell. He's made LB his, imo. :shamrock:

Loved that. That's what you call taking the game by the scruff of the neck. He was the only Celtic player who looked like he could and he's a * left back.

I can find just about anything to be honest :smiley-laughing002:

as I said in the match thread he was the best player on the park for Celtic.

I've said for a few months Give him a chance and he will do well

    Thanks :50:

That is what I love about Tierney, you feel confident when he's playing because he keeps a good balance, doesn't just burst forward unnanounced. That saving tackle suggests he can read a game well.

he's not worried about taking a long range shot anyway.

I was at a Hibs V Celtic youth game last year he almost scored a cracking goal.

What an amazing skill for a left back to have. When Alaba scored last night and someone said no way could Izzy do that I was thinking but Tierney might have a go. No disrespect to Izzy, very few defenders can hit a ball like Alaba.

Great to hear he not only has the ability but also the confidence. Some players are scared to make mistakes and don't try crazy stuff but it's best when they do because sometimes it comes off and it can freak out the opposition if they think you are capable of different things, they have to leave space marking you. Him breaking down the wing like that is going to be good for our central midfielders and strikers because of the defenders who come out to challenge him leaving space.
