Explain? Do you not agree that we lack a direct approach with most of our players? The only player I can think that takes people on is forrest sometimes and he isn't that great at it.

Not really, Deila's style is very undirect, it's not always a bad thing Pep done it to a big extent with Dani Alves. Not completely out his game but far less than he was at Sevilla.

 

Could be, a doubt he was good enough at 16.

 

Making him captain though on the back of one game? Come on mate.

He is an exciting prospect but that is all he is. He should even be starting every game never mind being Captain.

Probably 16/17 and playing for the youth side and not quite ready for first team football. Do you think it is a coincidence that players like Armstrong and GMS especially have now decided to chuck the direct part of their game for passing into the middle for no reason?

Edit: That's one thing I do like about Deila he seems to be really good at man management and being able to tell players what they need to do to get in the team etc. but I think his tactics are horrible.

I would argue Gordon is due to us keeping him injury free so thank the physios for that one, everyone knew he was a good keeper but I wouldn't really regard him as a Deila signing.. Griffiths and bitton obviously was Deila.

 

Well stone the * crows now that you put it that way lets give him a 5 year contract.

 

Bitton hardly kicked a ball under Lenny, fair enough he signed him but he wanted out until he became a key player under Ronny.

 

He's said a lot of things about a lot of people mate. I have no issue with what he says, I've not seen him back up much of what he says though.

I'd be more inclined to think he wasn't in the team because he was 16 and barely in the development team.

 

He was becoming a key player then he got injured on international duty.

 

You'd think by now you'd be able to see that alot of the time Deila talks utter pish and people lap it up for some reason. But if he decides to let Tierney be direct fair play but evidence in his tactics suggests to me that he probably wont.
