Think he can easily surpass izzy by the time he's 22

Hope he can be the next one to make it from our youth set up! Izzy is getting too big for his boots and doing way stupid stuff in matches now!

I'd be playing him a lot this year with a view to him being first choice next season, as Ronny said he doesn't play like an 18 year old so there's no point in waiting about to through him in. Its what we all want to see our youth players been given the chance if that means we're weaker at left back for a season or two then so be it, it'll pay off massively.

He plays exactly like an 18 year old in my opinion..

Like his dig and eagerness in the challenge, looks to see an opening and is straight in. Heard a lot about his technique and deliveries and we've not seen that just yet but he deffo looks a player..

Still not overly ready for us, in the bigger European game's although he did well but I'd have no problems throwing him in domestically now..

Can see he has that touch of class about him just when doing the basics -passing , touch , moving , crossing , has a culutured style .

This is a move by Deila and a clever one - it's aimed at the bhoy himself rather than us as fans.

I'll keep in mind the same praise he had for McGregor this time last year when I'm watching him. Expectations shouldn't be too lofty, he's 18 after all.

He plays with maturity beyond his age which is the point being made, I see what you mean however I think that's just his personality and his desire to play for Celtic.

Boy needs game time. We have heard this all before with youngsters, only for them not to feature, get the odd league cup appearance, make a mistake and then everyone turns on him.

Give him game time now yo develop with the squad.

Sooner he overtakes izzy, the better for me. Izzy is our worst player, by a country mile IMO. Such a liability. Ronny sees this, and is dropping him more often.
He never recovered after that ankle injury against the sheep.

Looks a classy player with the ball at his feet. Very raw though but the talent is there.

It's great that he has Izzy to learn from. We can afford to give Izzy a rest now and again as it seems to me he has been crying out for a break. In two years time this lad will hopefully be a regular starter.

Lets not heap too much pressure on him though.

He really was brilliant today. Can't fault the guy. 100x better than Izzy has been.

His best performance by far today, attacking wise anyway. Constant threat.

Probably too young to handle playing every game, but should be playing regularly. Looked confident too.

Has all the qualities needed to be a very good full back . More defensively minded than Izzaguirre aswell , sits back ever so slightly until the ball starts making its way left - has the pace to get up with the play in time . Positionally impressive .

Excellent performance. Made the free kick that would ultimately take us to 2-0 and also won the penalty that Commons slotted to put us 3-0 up.

    Well deserved MOTM.

RD on @kierantierney1 “He was very good. It’s a big credit to the Celtic Youth Academy for bringing through a player like that."

RD: "He has a big future, only 18-years-old. He has a great attitude, hates getting beaten."
