I hope he doesn't play for Celtic again.
That is not spite, nor even any judgement on whether he is better - or not - than anyone else at the club.
Simply, if he does not want to be there, no point in giving him him a place in the team, or even the bench, when we have talent to develop who are looking forward to their Celtic careers, not behind them. We certainly have plenty of options for the rest of the season and he will surely be punted in the summer.

 

Why did you jump from the championship to a league which is better than the premier league?

 

There's something wrong with his mentality.. But really don't get the delight taken by some that one of our homegrown prospects has failed to fulfill his potential!

I agree it is venomous and I just dont get it. Look at Derk he gets nothing compared to wee Forrest and it doesnt make any sense. Wee Jamesy has actually produced for us for years even though he has been plagued by injuries. We wont replace him either and will be significantly weaker as we wont have his option in Europe. I would love to understand the hostility towards him from some of our own, its actually disgraceful and some people need to have a look at themselves.

 

Derk gets nothing compared to Forrest probably due to the fact that most supporters forgot he was still on Celtic's books.

 

That's no excuse for the venom directed towards wee Jamesy while he gets a free pass. Shocking behavior from our own. How do we expect players to show us loyalty when we have none whatsoever for our own players?

 

personally I think your spot on bud. but this is the type of * players get when there fans think the player isn't giving a toss. and as I said earlier I think the injuries have fecked him completely.

 

Totally different ball game though. It was us that sigend Derk Boerrigter, we knew all about his injury history when we made the offer. That is the scouting network as well as the board's error by allowing the signing to happen. Derk is made of glass and that's that. He's a big shitebag which I have said many times on here, his lack of aggression when he has been on the pitch is a joke, he doesn't attack the ball at all.

Forrest on the other hand came through our youth academy, broke into the first team through the ranks and has been in and around the first team since 2010. We have always said he lacks the final product but he has shown glimses of terrific effectiveness when he is in the mood for it. It looks like he can't be arsed playing for Celtic, doesn't try his hardest and gives up too easily. Now he has rejected his contract offer which he shouldn't have had in the first place. So fans have every right to call him a wee *. We pay his * wages ffs.

If wee no neck Jamesy had have been playing "back in the day" with his * attitude, his pathetic work ethic, his determination to ignore the players around him during games, his zero effort approach, taking his tiddler out in bars and pishing on the street like a * dipso....

I know you're fond of these wee exchanges between me and you but cop yourself on. Unlike some of my detractors on here you have at least shown in the past that you know something about football. Perhaps I misjudged you because if you truly believe that this is not a loss then you are just as clueless as the rest of them. Look at the outball he gives us in Europe he is really the only man who can help us get out and we will miss this option badly especially against teams better than or equal to us. But hey if you want to be a half yard ahead the next best in Scotland that's up to you.

I agree and I am also unhappy he is not the player he should be but the criticism of him on here is pathetic. (Also in responce to Lecs as well, this post is getting long!)

 

At the end of the day, I'm not the one claiming that a player who struggles to get in our starting X1, and very rarely turns up when he does, would be a significant loss to us. Take your head out your * for once. Forrest offers the square root of nothing more often than not, and his complete lack of effort at times is inexcusable. It's players like Forrest that mean we are just half a yard ahead of the next best in Scotland.

 

Bullshit. Have you ever thought of the possibility that he is not being used or motivated properly? Look at Europe this season bar Commons wee Jamesy was our best player. He * roasted full backs and his pace was a direct reason why we were able to push up. We are going to lose this option and if you cant see why this is a loss then you are the one who needs to take his head out of his hole.

This also raises an interesting question regarding Tierney. I suppose we can also expect him to come in for the same flack if he picks up injuries, loses form, and does not become the player he could have been, and just ignore what he actually gives us. We have no hope if we cant get behind one of our own our own, youth players will go out of fashion eventually if current trends on here are followed. It's * pathetic and people wont be happy until we fill the squad with players who come good in football manager but have done nothing for us in reality.
