This . Was a nonsense story.

 

Won't be a big miss really. There were times he looked like he could be a great player, but injuries have ruined him. No point giving a guy a 4 year contract that plays 20% of our games and is extremely hit or miss when he does start. Too much risk.

Hopefully we're looking at a few wingers with a view to signing one or two early in the summer transfer window.

 

This especially when McGeady is a far better player and has never had any type of injuries either

Wish he could stay fit and give a little bit more for the club. like him on his day though. think he might want to jump ship due to ronny but thats just me talking *.

 

He has been found out at us, never mind Tottenham. A player I've never really rated to be honest, and his lack of effort at times is nothing short of a disgrace. Hopefully somebody is daft enough to take him off our hands in the summer and we can get something for him.

 

Same. I just don't think he'll ever be the player we need. He's good on his day but not often enough and still has some issues such as bad crosses, etc. Nothing personal, I'd just like to see us get rid and give other more committed players the game time.

 

Says a lot of some of our supporters that a lad can be here for 13 years and when he decides to go and try somewhere else, he's rubbished. Do I think he is the best we have? No. Is he someone who week in/week out delivers? No. He is a good squad player who has his moments/games.

For me he's a "heads down and go for it" type of player. Double up on him and he's stuffed. If Lenny is still at Bolton, can see him going there. He'll make a living - maybe even more money out of English Championship or even bottom half of Bundesliga.

His attitude is terrible, that's the problem. He doesn't know how lucky he is getting to run out on that pitch every second week for a club he's meant to love. Wanders about not giving a *. Whether he's been here 2 weeks or 20 years it's not good enough.

 

He's became complacent. He's been here forever so it's just normal for him. He feels safe so plays safe. Doesn't have that burning desire to impress like you do at a new club or giving your first chance. He'll move on and be brilliant for 6 months. Then he'll do the same again.

 

No it doesn't say anything about our supporters . "13 years " :smiley-laughing002: the * is 24 year old lets not talk about him like he's Billy Mcneill. He rejected a contract offer he didn't even deserve and the fans never really took to him because he's a cocky little * who barely tries a leg.

 

its a real shame for him tbh. I thought at one time he could have been a top player for us. think all his injuries have completely ruined any confidence or belief he had in himself. probs best for all if he moves on. who knows he might rediscover his early form and build a decent career. I hope he does well anyway.

 

I feel he made the mistake many promising Scottish youth players make. Once they get to 21 and get into the first team they forget they need to get better. If your development stagnates then so does your career.

It might be a bit harsh on Forrest because he's had injury troubles but he doesn't come across as the type who would stay behind in training trying to improve himself.

 

He hasnt gone yet! He may well stay if he doesnt get a suitable offer. Year left on his contract.

 

thought his contract finishes in December. think its best he moves on for him and celtic.

 

Was one of our better players the first half of this season he offered a good out ball in Europe, but as per every other season, he's fallen away. I can't believe he's 24 always think he's 20 or so in my head, think a move away suits both parties.
