More likely a newly promoted Championship side. An EPL side will never touch him.

I think if we are being brutally honest it's time for Forret to move on. It's always been if's but's and maybe's with him. Hasnt done enough in his time here to warrant any new deal. Forever disappoints us & when the squad is trimmed I think he should be moved on to let others come through.

Yeah, I'd be amazed if went to an EPL team. It's not as if he stands out up here.

    You are kidding right?

What the * have Roberts, Allan and Christie done in a wide position that Forrest hasn't this season?

Honest to *, see if you want to be a Celtic fans favourite just make sure you don't get a game.

We know Forrest isn't good enough. Time to give others a chance.

This need to persist with Forrest is ridiculous, he's worse than he was a couple of years ago. Time to move on.

In the last few months, Allan has impressed me more in his limited game time than Forrest has and he starts fairly often.

Roberts has to start. He's obviously a very talented boy.

Christie has more to prove, of course, but he's been great for Inverness (completely changed the game when he came on against us earlier in the season) and deserves a chance to show us what he's got.

You said they were "all better options in a wide area". There is absolutely nothing to suggest that.

    There is.

They played there yesterday and showed more in 15 minutes than Forrest has in a while.

They are better options at this moment because they are not Forrest. I know you like him but come on to *, first two months of the season aside he's been *.

I think the fact that the vast majority are hoping to see the names mentioned feature in the team more often, whilst hoping Forrest doesn't, speaks volumes.

That's not the point. You said they were better options, they aren't. They deserve a chance to see if they are but until then Forrest is a better option. He has had good games in Europe and yet you are salivating over 3 guys who played well against a tired Inverness side for 15 minutes.

Christie, Allan or Roberts come in and don't perform for 3 or 4 games will be getting the same treatment Forrest is getting. It's the way it is on here.

Is Forrest a Celtic fan? Genuine question.

Really thought after 1st few games this season that this was going to be his year, couple of times looked at his best I thought, but unfortunately it has just been another season of stop start again. Time to move on I think.

See ya Wee'y Jamesy Forresty Bhoy:bbpd:

Not good enough, and as everycunt bar a couple are saying, has regressed instead of improved in his time in the first team. Injuries may play a big part in that though as he was an explosive wee player when he came on the scene. Not got the right attitude and lacks the determination to properly make it.

I want to see them featured too, but all this "punt" * every time a player goes off the boil does my * * in.

Like I said, 10 games down the line if the likes of Allan, Christie or Roberts are having a run of bad games they will get the same treatment as Forrest is getting. Then Forrest will come back in and play well for while before he too has a dip in form and the focus once again shifts to the "better option" on the bench.

    Repeat ad nauseum.

Allan has impressed me pretty much any time he's played. Which is usually 20 minutes here and there - which is a joke. I've only seen 15 minutes of Roberts but I'm inclined to believe he'll be better than Forrest - I'll be amazed if he isn't. I've seen Christie quite a number of times and he's a good player.

They've only played as a 3 yesterday, aye. But individually they excite me more than a winger who canny shoot or cross the ball - and don't forget he hides.

The reason Forrest gets the treatment he does is because, like I said, he's a coward and a moany *.

Hopefully he will move on in the summer as he has talent but no consistency.

What the * are you talking about "off the boil"?

Forrest has been the same player for a couple of years now, at least. You get one good performance from him every half a dozen games. He's been in the first team for what, 5 years?

The fact is he's got worse and at this moment in time, a time where I'll sure we can all agree Celtic aren't up to much, he can't even cement his place in the team....well he's evidently not up to much either.

Pish. I'm not even going to debate with you when you are pulling figures out your *.

You don't like him, I think he has something to offer the squad. Leave it at that.

The difference being, every player in the squad who dips in form still shows at least the required amount of effort and commitment.

    Forrest lacks it in abundance.

He looks to have downed tools, and at a time where he's still to decide on a new deal, that's incredible.
