    Consistently our most dangerous player in Europe, to get rid of him would be * idiotic - glad all our managers aren't thick as * and can see he's a player. Lennon, Ronnny and Strachan for Scotland, course most of you know better eh.

    2 goals 2 assists from 28 games in all competitions this season.

    Compare that to the 2 goals and 6 assists of Mackay-Steven in 26 games.

    Who's been getting called for everything.

    I rate him, really I do but comes a point you need to ask questions.

    You can't pretend that showing up once or twice every 15 games is good enough.

    By the time he has the experience or brain to make better decisions on the pitch his legs will have gone and without them he's got jack *

    He played well aye but it's to say he is consistently our most dangerous player is just plain wrong. Commons scored/assisted about half a dozen goals in Europe for us this season.

    I've done more u-turns on him than any other player ever. He does zero for a few months then seems to come onto a game. Just as you're thinking 'yes, Forrest is finally going to be the player we all thought he was' he disappears again for a few months.

    It's been the same since he broke into the first team & the reality is that he will never be that consistently exciting player we all hoped. The James Forrest of today, the guy that makes fleeting appearances off the bench is the player he will always be. I wouldn't be that disappointed if he left & more to the point I think it might be best if we let him leave. With guys like Christie coming through plus a load of other midfielders that we either have or are targeting, I think Forrest is now surplus to requirements.

    Seems to be struggling to make the starting 11 at the moment..

    However, remains and important player for us, his pace and touch are attributes worth holding on to. Like any winger can be frustrating at times and needs to weigh in with more goals and assists.

    European sides are worried by his pace and trickery, not sure you can say that about any of our other wide players at the moment, aside Commons.

    A hopefully injury free season will do his confidence the world of good too.

    Just looking at BBC Scottish Gossip, can't post the link as on my phone..

    Says he and Griffirhs had a bust up in the tunnel after the game on Sat and has to be pulled apart..

    Got no issue with this, it happens and shows how competitive our squad is becoming..
