one of the very few that tried his hardest tonight unfortunately they spotted the danger after the first leg and doubled and tripled up on him at times .

Look I said earlier not a fan but this lad showed so much heart tonight which I applaud but he needs to sort his last bit of play out

Ok he was * magic at distributing the ball in the final third our strikers got to every ball he put in the box .....is that what you want me to say

If he's that predictable their full back should have had him sussed by the 10th time he made him look like a pub footballer on roller skates, eh?

    Motm without doubt.

I know that's not much of a compliment considering... But he was great I thought.

He was looking for the ball and trying to make something happen. That's the kind of bravery so many of his team-mates lacked this evening.

He's far from perfect, but it's obvious that when he is fit and fancies it, he is one of our more dangerous players. If he stays injury-free and approaches training/matches with the right attitude he'll have a big season - but there are question marks over whether he'll do either.

Why do so many people feel the need to type "Not a fan of his but..."? :smiley-laughing002:

I've been impressed with him this season. I had written him off a couple of months ago but he's looking much, much better these days.

I know, played a blinder on the right spot what happens 2nd half? Gets put on the left...

    Must be Lawwell's fault.

No, his team mates were too predictable.

He consistently roasted his marker only to find himself trying to place a needle in a haystack.

for a supposedly super fit team he constantly had no one to aim at in the box because we weren't getting up the park quick enough.

End product has been * for a while if he can work on that he'll be out best player. At least he tried to make something happen tonight where no one else would.

Ripped their full back with the same move over and over.

But this thing about ''he has pass marks'' and ''can hold his head high'' pish has to stop. It's a team, they qualify as a team and get knocked out as a team.

He was good tonight. He's going to be a huge part of this rebuilding job. I pray he stays fit.
