Let's wait to see him fully fit under Ronny before we get rid.

We've only had two competitive games so far, I'm just happy he's fit.

    Over to you James.

If he improves drastically especially in Europe and is vital in getting us to group stages and beyond then fine but he needs to up his game.
His ability to get past players is good but the final cross into the box needs quite a bit of work.
if that doesn't improve before January then he should be sold.
Only problems is, who would take him because if we can see it surely professional scouts would pick up on it too.

Not good enough right now and no consistency. But Ronny rates him and thinks he can improve him so he'll have this season to make his mark - I hope he grabs his last chance to fulfill his potential with us :50:

I think your right, this is his last chance. I like the bhoy, always have. There's definitely a player there but he frustrates the life out you at times. Can make you look like an idiot trying to defend him as well

Don't rate him at all, he is quick but he is so predictable with his movement and his dribbling I don't think he would be hard to mark. His end product is also woeful. However deila rates him hugely so he will be played a lot, I hope he can improve in areas and keep fit and hopefully he turns into a player

Don't know? Want him to excell. But he just gets injured. And sometimes is so predictable.

when he's playing at his best I really don't understand how people can not like him, he plays like an old fashioned winger really direct with loads of ability

How often in a season do we see his best though?

Hopefully this season we'll see him get over his injury problems and put in some consistent performances, this season is massive for him

Does he ? Then why does he always start GMS in front of him , or play Kris Commons and sometimes even Stokes out of position on the right rather than start Forrest? If Ronny is asked about Forrest (or any player contracted to this club ) he is never going to say " I don't fancy him " - of course he is going to say he likes him as a player and he has a bright future etc etc - that's standard managerial soundbites. Proof is in the pudding - starts plenty of players in front of Forrest , has brought in wingers galore on loan last season and we are still being linked with wingers in this window - i have a suspicion Ronny doesn't rate Forrest anywhere near as highly as some of you seem to think .

Aye yer right. Keep telling myself it's not his fault, just unfortunate. But it does get frustrating as *.

Think thats because I was desperate for the wee guy to make it though.

We really need to start producing some players from our youth acadamy. It's getting a little embarrasing we've only really had McGeady do well and made a decent profit from

Yeah i really wanted him to be as good as McGeady as a winger, but he isn't a kid anymore and i feel this is really his make or break season, because we cant keep waiting on him pushing on anymore

He doesn't always start GMS in front of him, and when has he ever played stokes on the right? In place of Forrest?

If Ronny never rated Forrest then he'd be more subtle when talking about him and playing him, but no, Ronny bigs him up no end and plays him..

He brought in wingers galore as he was panicking and shooders wasn't even fit..

Did this really need another thread anyway? Everyone knows he needs to find some consistency and deliver to make it this season..
