He was available for the Stjarnan game. Hopefully he's been training well and fitness preserved for tonight. If he doesn't play then GMS would be a good shout. I just think Commons is a better big game player (if fit).

GMS has arguably been our best player over pre-season. Plus he's the best winger we have. Commons and Armstrong aren't wingers.

Commons should be nowhere near the starting eleven.

Commons & Stokes came inside, Lustig and Izzy overlap. It's not new. We need goals tonight and Commons is a better goal threat.

Well right now, GMS has been scoring quite frequently. He's a pretty good threat himself, plus he has bags of pace. Something that Commons certainly doesn't have.

Anyway, it's a pointless debate. You're the only one on this forum that would rather see Commons play.

 

Besides, this is my ideal team if he's fit. If he's unfit he doesn't play. Just like Mulgrew at left back. I'm not suggesting he plays with a leg knock am I? I'm saying if he passes a late fitness test then I would like to see him play instead of Izzy? Don't see the problem!
