Very encouraging performance.

 

Looked more confident,, has strength and good pace......but would like him to get more crosses in when attacking.

 

Played well. Fast as * but doesnt seem to know what to do with the ball once he gets past the defender.

 

there's a superd RB in there somewhere. Man U seen it and their fans we're gutted to see him go.

Some good training and guidance and we defo have a player on our hands.

 

This. People slagged off Izzy for his final ball, mainly in the 1St half, but he never really managed to get the ball into the box.

 

I think he'll develop into a very good full back if he remains injury free.

 

Izzy been here for years and his crossing is fecking shocking.....janko has he even played 10 games yet.....he is new in the team he is learning and can improve......maybe.

Same can not be said for izzy.

 

Another performance and perhaps the unsung hero of the game.
Strong in defence, quick and direct in attack. His speed from a standing start is reminiscant of Agathe.

 

Thought he played quite well tonight. Took it past the full back more often than he's done previously. Encouraging.

 

Defensively he was excellent, he's still getting into his stride going forward.

 

A bit of playing time, belief, and support and he'll do fine.

 

played well but he has to start passing or crossing when he gets the ball...few times he waited and waited and ended up surrounded or in trouble.

 

Hadn't been impressed with him up until tonight but fair play to him- good performance.

 

He's quick and strong, so naturally his covering and getting back defensively are good. He's completely pish on the ball though, majorly. Hasn't got a clue..

Been good since Rodgers has taken over.

 

Wasn't as effective when he was moved to wingback. Needs someone infront of him to create space for him to burst into.

Reminds me a lot of Izzy.
Real depth at full back with Izzy and him as the backups.

Problem with him is he leaves too big a gap behind him when attacking needs to know when to time his runs better. Tierney has got the perfect balance of knowing when to attack and defend. Janko needs to get better at this.

 

Looked really good tonight. I must admit I wasn't impressed with him so far this season but if he keeps up that level of performance I will certainly nosh on some humble hairy pie.
