This would be in my thinking, if it wasn't for the fact, I personally feel we're crying out for a top striker, as a number 1 target..

In saying that, when a mcgeady is available, you don't turn that down..

Hooper for sure. Has 2 years on Aiden, and proven goalscorer. Aiden was (and is) always inconsistent, and with him sure to lose pace day-by-day, he's a totally different player to the one who left.

McGeady is too hot or cold, Hooper and Griffiths up front is jizzworthy.

No he wasn't. He was excellent for us granted. Larsson was a top striker. Hooper was no where near that level.

    Aye, he was..

Saying he wasn't a top striker for us because henrik was a freak of nature, is just daft..

I chose McGeady because I think Hooper is more replaceable.

A freak of nature is Messi or Ronaldo. Larsson was a top player for us. Hooper was a very good player us.

Hooper is not a top striker fs:smiley-laughing002:

Neither for me, both were excellent when here but both have a lazy/petulant side to them.

I would rather have someone with the attitude of GMS in the squad rather than McGeady..

Honestly feel he is one of the most overrated players on here. There's nothing in his recent form with Everton or Ireland that would suggest he would be a real coup.

Hooper is undoubted quality but can you really see him coming back and fully adapting to what Ronny is trying to achieve?

Both will be looking for big wages too not sure about either..

The only thing for me is if either did come back there is a desire to play for us, as they would get more cash elsewhere. Which would be positive and both would get the backing they deserve.

McGeady more likely than Hooper in taking a cut in cash to return for obvious reasons.

Larsson was not just a top player for us, he would have been a GREAT player for ANYONE..
Hooper was a TOP player for US. I don't know why your trying to deny or play down not only Hooper's ability and time here..

Now that we seem unlikely to get Vossen, it'd be Hooper.

I think a proven striker is more important.
