Same, also done the same with the German and then Italian finals they were absolute dire. Anthony Stokes played better the day than any of the teams in those finals, boring as * lifeless dull games with no atmosphere.

I don't think winning the cup was ever gonna save LVG, finishing 5th in the league was obviously not good enough, under Fergie utd were great to watch, under LVG you could fall asleep watching them, i think the supporters will be glad to see the back of him.

BREAKING NEWS: Mourinho still a major c*nt!

Despise the man - a genuinely nasty piece of work. Hope it absolutely falls to bits at Old Trafford.

OK maybe this is a bit harsh as no-one predicted what Leicester would do but I am just looking at last seasons Racing Post preview to see which tipsters did well etc and found the following from Didi Hamann

" I don't know who had the idea that Claudio Ranieri was the man to take Leicester to the next level, but to my mind the only place the Foxes are going with him at the helm is the Championship.
I'm not entirely sure why Nigel Pearson got the sack though clearly it wasn't for football reasons given the way Leicester finished the campaign.
Now ask yourself what has Ranieri won in almost 30 years of management- and managing big,big clubs, by the way. The answer is very little, yet somehow Leicester have been duped into thinking he's their man.
This can only end in tears and I'd far rather be backing Leicster for relegation than either Bournemouth or Norwich. I actually think Norwich will do really well and would take them in a threeball with the Cherries and the other promoted side Watford.
Norwich were unlucky to go down and have improved massively since the appointment of Alex Neil.
He took them up in style and I have no fears for them. They'll stay up easily.
The same, however cannot be said for Watfor, another team who may well pay the price for getting shot of a successful manager"

    Bamford top scorer (ew)
    Crystal Palace top half finish
    Norwich top promoted club
    Leicester to be relegated
    Watford to be relegated
    Wolves to win the Championship

Mourinho apparently going to get £200m this summer to spend.

Better pray he uses it wisely, they have spunked a ridiculous amount on duds recently. As have most EPL sides.

I cant see how it is harsh, the dolly auld * spent a quarter of a billion to win the * FA Cup, the main objective was to challenge for the league and atleast qualify for the Chsmpions League which he failed at

Aye you'd imagine a lot of the signings will be his people.

James Rodriguez is one there should be a good chance of as it seems Zidane doesnt rate him and he'll probably want to leave them.

I think he will sign 2 defenders and a defensive midfielder(or two) and 2 attacking players probably James Rodriguez and Ibrahimovic.

Defensively I could imagine him going for 2 old solid guys who fit into his more sneaky and cheating sort of style like Pepe and Thiago Motta who played for him before as they'd set the tone in games to create the sort of shenanigans that usually end up happening under Mourinho by getting in refs faces, trying to wind players up or dive etc

Im expecting to see a team like

    De Gea
    Juanfran Pepe Smalling Shaw
    T.Motta
    Kante Rooney
    J.Rodriguez Ibrahimovic Martial

Mata a certainty to go, Mourinho probably sees him as a weak character who wouldnt buy into his kind of mentality of being solid, working hard and doing anything to win.
