Aye, they were mentioning that at the weekend on Soccer Saturday. With the new bigger stadium, better team etc they'll probably get better sponsorship deals, they'll have the more money from the ticket sales probably now going to get about 25,000 more fans per game so that will be worth about £15million more a season then the new TV deal will get them about £40million more per season, so from now on they will be about £60million atleast richer per season.

They'll probably be the 13th richest club in Europe from next season overtaking clubs like AC Milan, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Schalke and Roma.

The new richest clubs from next season will probably look like...

    1. Real Madrid
    2. Barcelona
    3. Man Utd
    4. Man City
    5. Arsenal
    6. PSG
    7. Chelsea
    8. Liverpool
    9. Juventus
    10. Tottenham
    11. Dortmund
    12. West Ham
    13. Everton
    14. Leicester
    15. AC Milan
    16. Atletico Madrid
    17. Southampton
    18. Sunderland
    19. Swansea
    20. Roma

Then it will be tight between a few teams like Inter, Napoli, Schalke, Leverkusen and all the other EPL teams from 20-30th.

Aye it's getting out of hand, even teams like Crystal Palace and Stoke will probably now be richer than Inter Milan. :smiley-laughing002:

If Newcastle dont get relegated they'd probably take over Dortmund as well. Shows how badly run Newcastle are that they are always one of the top 20 richest teams about yet they have been battling near the bottom of the League and now likely relegated twice in the last 5 years or so.

Forgot them, new I missed someone as I originally said West Ham would be 13th then they ended up 12th when I wrote it out.

Bayern probably behind PSG, so 7th. 6th if Man City dont make the CL. If Man U make the CL they might take over Barcelona.

Posted this above last week. As Gyp said, they've basically got a massive ground for next to nothing and will make a fortune on selling off the land at Upton Park. Some strange dealings to come out in the wash methinks..

The older and more loyal support will be gutted but the corporate type and possibly younger support will be delighted as they'll be getting a better calibre player and you'd expect them to be not far off a Spurs type side and finish in the next few year's..

No Galatasaray or Fenerbache? They earn a fortune in television and sponsorship rights, both have massive supports and pay fortunes in wages for player's..

I dunno on Facebook they're all saying that the government get 70% of all food and drink sales match days. All in they will pay £4m a year.

Pretty good. Considering the stadium was bought paid for and would be lying empty anyway?

Peanuts for what West Ham will be bringing in..

That ground was never lying empty. 3 local club's were fighting for it. Yet West Ham have got an outrageously good deal. Have a look about for how much they'll rake in for the land in and around Upton Park..

No, on a good year they maybe get around £130million, which will probably be less than every team in the EPL next season a lot of whom will actually get more than that in TV money alone.

Every team in the EPL from now on just from TV money and season ticket sales will be richer than like every team in the world bar about 12 - Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, PSG, Juventus, Dortmund, Atletico Madrid, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Roma, Schalke are really the only teams who can compete with EPL teams without being in Europe. Other teams like Valencia, Leverkusen, Napoli, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray etc really need to be in the CL probably atleast the quarters to have similar money to teams like Crystal Palace, Watford, West Brom, Bournemouth and Stoke.

Where you getting these figures from? You keep mentioning Dortmund but from what i can make out they are a modestly financed club. Same as Atletico.

Or are you just guessing based on league/CL positions?

Probably go down this year but last year Dortmund made £205m so they are quite wealthy and richer than most EPL teams.

Atletico make about £160m so they are modestly funded.

Past years, Dortmund are one of the richest clubs in Europe, so depends what you mean by modestly. Modest in comparison to the top 7/8 teams but still miles ahead of clubs like Lazio, Roma, Sevilla etc

There will be several tiers really of richness.

Top - Real, Barca, Bayern, Man U, Man C, Arsenal, PSG
2nd - Liverpool, Juventus, Tottenham, Dortmund
3rd - AC Milan, Atletico Madrid, Everton, West Ham, Newcastle(if in EPL)
4th - (All other EPL teams), Schalke, Inter, Galatasaray, Fenerbahce
5th - Roma, Valencia, (other teams depending on CL qualification Leverkusen, Wolfsburg, Lyon, Lazio, Napoli, Sevilla, Monaco etc)
6th - Porto, Benfica, (Some Russian teams, other decent German, Italian and Spanish teams)
7th - Celtic, Ajax, (Some Russian teams, other Italian, Spanish, French, German teams)
8th - PSV, Feyenoord, Sporting, Olympiacos, Anderlecht, Basel(some English Championship, Russian, French, German, Turkish, Spanish, Italian teams)

Celtic are probably now around the 45th-55th richest team, 10 year ago we were probably 18-24th.
