What a strike that was. The swerve on the ball made the keeper look useless :icon_mrgreen:

Super player. Was always frustrated that we shoved him out to the right of midfield.

Think Strachan said it best, you could write a book on technique purely on Naka himself.

I always thought he went missing quite a lot and could be ineffective. There is no doubting his quality though, he had fabulous tekkers and pretty much delivered in all the big games when we needed something..

That chip against Dundee Utd is one of the couple of goals that always stand out to me for quality, the other main one was Lubos from near the corner flag.

I'd * move to Glasgow and buy a season ticket if he were to become a staff at Celtic.

Most technically gifted player I've ever seen live in a Celtic shirt.

As far as technically gifted players go, he's 2nd only behind Lubo in my lifetime at Celtic.

Loved him. Got a big signed picture hanging up. Such a shy type of individual and came over very humble. Not many nice guys in the game like him. Think his heart wasn't in it when he left us for Spain. Remember seeing loads of Japanese at the games back then.

Thinking about it, he scored so many important goals. Some of my favourite goals ever.

The goals against man united and the wonderstrike against the Huns are the ones that stick out for me, jumping round daft when they went in. Being down in England I was so * buzzing to beat united and give my school pals pelters the next day :icon_mrgreen:

Naka was pure class, very much a luxury player but made us such a better team, especially as a lot of the players in the squad during his time weren't the most technically gifted we've had either.
