How would you say it, I can't think for the life of me how it'd be translated. :56:

    Mais je les aime.

You don't use the "do". The French don't utilise the other verb, for example it's the same if you wanted to say "Yes, I do" in French, it's simply "Oui".

But in English there is a slight difference between "But I do like them" and "But I like them". The latter is translated as "Mais je les aime" or, even better, "Mais ils me plaisent". I am not sure, however, how the addition of "do", which makes the sentence a bit different, can be included in French. Maybe you could say "Mais ils me plaisent quand même".

Yeah I agree there is a difference, definitely. It's just one of they ones that doesn't translate too great, however I do like your "quand même" addition, don't think you could get any closer than that!

What was wrong with the Stade de Gerland? I thought that was a nice wee stadium so I did.

Yes it is a beautiful stadium. The one that sticks better local history. But it belongs to the town hall, and is too small. Our ambition is to win the Champions League.

Who'll use it? Isn't the new stadium quite a bit out of town?

We still do not know who will be the future user. The new stadium will be out of Lyon but close by, in Décines-Charpieu.
