  3. this * coming or naw?

  4. Middlesbrough haven't taken up the purchase option because they're not exactly flush with cash. They wanted to take him on loan again with an option to buy. Probably because they have faith be can help them achieve promotion and then use some of that windfall to bring him in permanently.

Vossen wasn't keen on another loan so knocked back the offer. Looking for a permanent move whether that be hear or somewhere else.

  5. I hope this happens, from what I've seen of him he'll fit right in with Ronny and knows where the net is in Europe. Easy decision for me, get him signed! :celt_2:

  6. He's a good age, and has plenty of experience of playing in good Leagues.

He's also different to the other strikers we have at the club. He's strong, good in the air and is comfortable playing with his back to goal.

He was very highly rated just a few years ago. At the price quoted, I'm really keen to see this happen.

And for ILTC, I'm sure I saw him score for Boro against Brentford. Where are you getting your stats from?

  7. He is saying all the right things to the press, seems like a come and sign me scenario unfolding

  8. Hopefully he is on his way by the sound he is making. Maybe after Denayer being loaned to us is turning the heads of some Belgians. Good market to work in, would be very happy with this.

  9. Id be delighted with this at the price being quoted. He seems keen as well.

“Celtic is a club I admire — it is a big and great club," he told the Sunday Sun.

“When I was younger, I watched a lot of their games in the Champions League.

“Celtic have had great teams and some Belgian players have been over there already. We just have to wait and see what happens and what the future will bring. I will talk to Genk in the coming days.”

  10. This is all set up for him to go to another club, isn't it. :54:

  11. yep.

  12. This would be a really good signing so it will most likely fall through.

  13. Would take him in a heartbeat , one of the more technical strikers , he is something we don't really have at Celtic, the technical ability , I wouldn't dismiss the impact Scepovic might have next season

  14. Depends on the service he got, he would get good service here so i could see him as a good signing , i would also keep Scepovic i think he will come good

  15. Welcome wanbaw!:50:

  16. If the reported figure of around two million is the asking price for this guy then we should absolutely be snapping their hand off! Exactly the type of striker we need and with good European pedigree! Sign him up pedro! :50:

  17. Good all round play but not the goalscoring striker that we need.

Only scored 6 goals all season and 3 of them were in one game against bottom of the league Millwall.

Scepovic scored more goals than him FFS!

Vossen has a very good record at Genk and has consistently scored in European competition.

On paper, he'd be a very good signing.

  18. Fair enough, but 6 goals in a good championship team is a bit worrying.

Not saying it would be a bad signing, but just feel that he would play best with a partner up top with him and he's not going to get that here.

Also his goal record at Genk would of been helped by having Kevin De Bruyne assisting the majority of his goals.

  19. You could also say that de bruynes assist record was helped by vossen finishing the chances he'd created
