    Great input there mate.

If Armstrong continues to play as poorly as he has been on the left, do you think he should still keep his place ahead of Stokes?

I've had discussions on here through a PM with a member and made it clear I have no personal problem with stokes at all, I like him as guy and as a player, when played were he is best, but being played out wide I don't think he does enough and that's no through any fault of his own, he has tried to adapt and had lost more weight than anybody in doing so, but imo him playing there doesn't work, and no stat will change my mind on that

It was me that said Izzy and Stokes link up play has been one of the highlights of the season and I stand by that, Stokes and Izzy were the main attacking threat for the first half of the season and some of there play was a joy to watch.

The link-up play between Stokes and Izzy were probably the only highlight of the 1st half of the season. You could maybe add Guidetti's free kicks and trashing Utd 6-1

It has been one of the highlights of our season and I stand by that. I certainly didn't delete any post where I said that.

Guidetti's initial form along with Stokes and Izzy's football was it for me, they were the two players who clicked onto the full helping those around them and teamwork thing first.

I think you're just mixing me up with somebody else. I don't think I've ever deleted one of my posts.

I wouldn't sell Stokes for less than 3 million and even at that I'd prefer he stayed. He can be frustrating but when he's at his best on the left with Izzy he is great to watch.

    Agreed.

A winger or two will be bought in the summer, I have no doubts about that. Bakkali would be a good signing for both now and the next few seasons, one we could make alot of money off as well if you want to think like Lawell.

I'd let him go. But along with letting others go (Derk) he will then need to be replaced.

Commons, Armstrong, Forrest, GMS, McGregor is decent enough squad depth for the two wide positions. Maybe lacking in some quality though (minus the obvious starters). I'd like to see a younger replacement for him. Who, I do not know. But £1-2million would be enough for us to find that. Bakkali player, what's the story with that one these days?

He simply doesn't into this new system he's pish out on the left and ain't good enough to be up top on his own but when guidetti leaves he's going to be the only other striker we have who's any good

I wouldn't sell him for less then 2 million but no team would pay that I don't see him becoming a good player anywhere else tbh if I was Stokes I'd stay and if I was Ronny I'd want to keep him he's an excellent player for the league which is are most important thing wouldn't be the end of the world if he left don't really see it happening anytime soon

I've wanted Stokesy to go for a long time now. Hopefully Lennon takes all our shitebags off to Bolton and gives us plenty of cash for it.

One goal and a major part in the second goal (pressured Campagnaro into the mistake) against Italian giants Inter or an assist (albeit a well worked one) against the mighty champions of Kazakhstan... Think Kong is right tbh.

Anyway all these arguments about Stokes have been done to death, I think it says it all about the player that the only potential suitor for him is a bottom half Championship club and the asking price is no more than £2m.
