    Yeah, Edinburgh. All the parks here have pitches. I live by the Meadows and the pitches are in surprisingly good nick. Used to play 8 a side when i was at uni. I was never any good but got persuaded when they told me you could have a beer while playing. I'm 35 now so playing football or other more physical sports really starts to hurt haha. Where did you play?

    I don't get how England are told "go out and express yourself" and suddenly they can hit 400. What were they being told before? Ronny should tell the boys to go out and play like Barcelona, we'll have the big cup in no time.

    Uddingston, from the age of 13 until recently. So from u13s to 2nd XI. I was a crap player but enjoyed the experience. A couple of the guys I played with through the youths are around the first team now & obviously Gavin Main is doing well with Scotland and Durham. Attended the 2011 Scottish cup final when we beat Dunfermline which was good & had training with pros including former Australia test opener Ed Cowan

    Seems a pretty decent level! Was watching Carlton play a game in the meadows a couple of weeks ago (probably not their first team) but they had a couple of 14 year olds and a 60 year old so I figure I could give it a bash. Did help that it was a sunny day mind. Think I went to a one day between Scotland and the windies around 2000 at titwood, is that where uddingston play?
