    Really enjoyable game actually, both teams played well, but we played really really well. We were in complete control for most of the match but Gordon did make two cracking saves which shows his value. But some of the passing tonight was outstanding. This is what we've been working towards playing like for the past 10 months under Deila. We are now seeing the results and performances, have been since the turn of the year, and once we have a proper number nine, we will skelp teams 6-7 every week it would seem at times.

    Quite impressed with Guidetti's overall contribution tonight, but he is far from the #9 that's required. First half, deflection/ blocked shot, John waited for the ball and nod it in, defender threw himself at it and won.
    Re-enforced my belief that John is not the bravest.

    We done the business and that is all it was needed. Thistle played well and made a game of it, but the penalty and sending off knocked the stuffing out of them.Commons is great with those penalties, he really leathers them in, and Johnsen's goal was excellent.

    Different type of player to Brown obviously and he's able to drive much better with the ball, really helps the counter attack.
