I've never seen the kid play but if he's in the same Norway squad as Johansen then he is talented enough to play here. If he does come he should be used to rotate our team, if he does the business whilst here his talents could be utilised in Europe.

I can't imagine we'd be paying much of his wages if it happens so unless there is a big loan fee it's risk free.

Although a 16 year old from Real Madrid sounds like the most likely person to be a *.

His talents are clear to see, an outstanding youngster, that i can guarantee will be a superstar sooner than we think....

Though I'd imagine Madrid would want him in Spanish football, but in saying that, we can offer European football.

Correct me if I am wrong did Ronny not say he was not up to the standard to get into our team when he first came in(ofcrose 12 months on he could of changed that opinion)

Although you are slightly tongue in cheek, our league and style of football can be perceived that way.

It's easier for Madrid to monitor and apply pressure to play him if he stays in Spain.

We can't really use European football as a lure with him or real though.

I'm Sure Ronny would not take him if he wasn't going to be involved in the team and for that he must be at a level that would match or better what we have now.

    In Ronny we trust :celt_2:

I'm slightly sceptical about taking a 16 year old on loan. I wouldnt have wanted Messi or Ronaldo at 16 either.

Is that right? I suggest you take yourself over to Youtube and check out the footage of a 16 year old Messi. He was phenomenal then, even as a kid.

Did he not make his debut at 17?

I've seen the youtube videos of Messi when he was that age and of course he waa skilled. I think people are seriously underestimatins the difference in strength between the ages of 16 and even 19 or 20.

When you're that good you don't really need to be built like Scott McDonald. Messi made his first team debut at 16 years old in a friendly, and was promoted to the first team shortly after.

Saying that you wouldn't take a 16 year old Messi at Celtic is * mental.

    Strength.... typical :56:

Of course we'd have taken a 16 year old Messi, he was * awesome at 17 and 18 too when he started getting regular games.

Look at Fabregas he was in the Arsenal first team at 17 and at 18 was regarded as their most important midfielder.
