Tough one for the official to call.

    Ref should have called it.

Referee was deplorable today. In the past I would have expected Celtic to still win with 10 players but it is a different time now, a lot of inexperienced players in the team and it really showed today.

Thought the atmosphere was awful too! Not the same urgency from the fans, singing almost non existent. A very disappointing day all around.

    I'm not picky.
To say that I'm * off about that result would be a massive understatement, but I don't know what I'm more * off about....us losing or the fact that Steve McLean couldn't have had a more * poor performance and couldn't have helped Inverness any more if he were actually playing for them.

    • Two stonewall penalties denied...a tackle on Forrest and the deliberate handball by Meekings. How the * that * on the byline (or the linesman) didn't see it is beyond me.
    • Two VERY obvious instances where he pulled the ball back for free kicks instead of allowing advantage.
    • Brown getting fouled in the 2nd half yet he gives the free kick to Inverness.
    • Books Tonev for handball I think it was....as he looks at the players back (so he can see THAT handball but not the Meekings one).
    • A blatant tackle on Johansen where the Inverness guy goes right through him at the byline yet McLean done * all (why didn't the linesman or idiot on the goal line flag for it if the ref didn't see it?)
Absolutely shocking performance from the officials.

In saying that, we still should have done more even with 10 men BUT when the referee is as atrocious as what McLean was today then we were always going to be against it.

Nope. I don't actually remember seeing any of their players slipping at all and I've not long finished watching the match on replay.

I can see where they are coming from, mate. I mean him not being able to count to 10 for their free kick is a more obvious bit of incompetence than two blatant penalties for us after all

I actually want action to be done trial by tv to meekings as I see that as much of cheating as a dive ,want him to be banned fir the final.

would stop another player(including any of ours)try in that in the future?

Just in from the game and to be honest something ive been sceptical about is the fact that scottish refs are biased in the huns and against us to the point its a * system. I've seen one picture of that handball 3 officials seen it ffs not a single word said ive finally been convinced of that now never mind the pther stonewaller.

Im not even going to go on about how * commons johansen and griffiths were. It should not have got to the situation where there performances even mattered after that first half.

No words. No * words. There are no words to describe what a filthy cheating shower of * those officials were yesterday. One of the most disgraceful performances I've ever seen from a set of officials and I've seen a few. Absolutely * blatant cheating.

I thought the treble was in the bag. But somebody on here a few weeks back said something that came absolutely true. They said 'Never take the treble for granted because no matter how well we play it only takes one referee to * the whole thing up'. That's exactly what happened. * raging. "Always cheated, never defeated". Aye right. Steven McLean, get yer * tae Specsavers ya dobber.

100% completely agree but we both know * all will be done.

Its high time Celtic said * it and looked only after themselves.

No more Tv deals to support the SFA and * wee football clubs that try and * us over.

Celtic home games on a Saturday at 3 and a complete boycott of away game.

let a few of them goto the wall, maybe then they will get the message that you don't try and * over the only good football club in Scotland.

We would probably still have been beat, I'd have predicted Commons slipping on his * as he stepped up to take the penalty and skied it.

Abysmal performance, one that I wouldn't have been surprised still being beat off of 10 men anyway.

McLean was poor, however as Ronny said the official behind the goal was to blame and he actually said the ref was innocent in the decision, I was under the impression he was out of sight, but can't be 100% on that.

ICT had a stonewaller turned down as well to be fair with mad Zaluska.

And no way was Forrest a penalty.

The Zaluska incident was a penalty, and I said the same on another thread, but it doesn't take away the fact the game would have been all over bar the shouting if we are rightfully awarded a penalty for the most blatant handball you are ever likely to see, and they go down to 10 men.

Watch a replay of it. McLean actually had a better view of it than the official behind the goal. He saw it alright.
