Sunday sees us with the chance to grab the first piece of silverware of the season and hopefully take the first step towards the domestic treble.

A new pitch will have been laid at Hampden and hopefully it is good enough to allow us to play the fast passing and attacking game we have recently come to see and expect.

This will be interseting. I went for the draw yesterday and was right. This time we will win, 2-1.

I thought the ban would just be Scottish cup?

Packie Bonner said on the radio both would miss the final but I'm not sure do he's right. I would've thought so tbh.

He can't miss the Cup Final, it's a different competition surely?

If Van Dijk's ban is upheld, he misses out.

We'll appeal, he'll play the final and then might get a ban for next cup game.

So Utd should have half a team left, as Ciftci is out of that too.

We should beat them, tbh Utd are the worst team in the SPL at this current time and yesterday was shambolic performance by Celtic, so I can't see us surely slumping again as we have the last couple of games.

Unfortuantely we don't have the Utd balls to call on, but hopefully he'll not be selecting the same forward players he did, most especially Stokes. Forrest was poor too, although for a 15-20 minute period he did start to look dangerous, maybe the bigger pitch might suit him.

I'd rather see any other wide player or such play than Stokes.

As for midfield, defo need to buck up there, the lot of them were poor, most especially Brown who was more a hindrance to Celtic than Utd, flying into tackles and woeful passing (which is bad enough, but even more so on that pitch). Hopefully they'll be on the ball and not caught up in the game come next week and concentrate what they do best.

    Gordon
    Ambrose Denayer Virgil Izaguirre
    Brown Bitton
    Forrest Johansen Stokes
    Griffiths

Have I included anyone who can't play..? Commons and Guidetti off the bench will cause them problems.

Virgil? Although talk of if we appeal on Friday they won't have time to decide until Tuesday.

I'm hoping Matthews might be back as well.

Will Commons be fit in time for the final? I would go:

    --------------------------------------Gordon--------------------------------
    Fisher--------------Ambrose-----------------Denayer-----------Izaguirre
    -----------------------Bitton-----------------Brown------------------------
    --------Henderson---------------Johansen-------------------Griffiths-----
    ----------------------------------Guidetti-----------------------------------

If Commons is fit I'd start him ahead of Henderson
