Brown described his challenge as great tackle. Pat "The *" Nevin tried to describe it as a two footed challenge last night. By that reckoning then every tackle is two footed then. If his challenge was a yellow then McGowan should have walked for his on Stokes.

Why are they going on about how Brown started it, and if the ref dealt with it, that'd be it.

Would it fek, it all happened in the space of seconds, Brown could have saw red, but no way was carding him going to stop what followed.

Apparently Brown is incredibly well protected from refs in Scotland and apparently there's 'no * chance Cifti meant to kick him in the head' unless 'you work in Scottish football'.

    :56: :56: :56:

Both points utterly ridiculous and utterly hilarious.

The ref never even gave a foul for Broonys tackle

From that incident this is what sould of been dished out-
Broony, Virgil and Butcher yellow carded
    Cifcti sent off
Paton sent off for being a * running around like a lassie wanting Celtic players to get sent off.

I think we should find out by three today what appeals have been submitted from yesterdays game.

    What should happen:

    Ciftci banned
    Virgil's rescinded
    Paton's rescinded
    Connolly banned
    Dixon's upheld

    Why will happen:

    Ciftci banned
    Virgil banned
    Paton rescinded
    Connolly - no action
    Dixon upheld

Untied have already lodged an appeal on Patons red card.

I suspect at the end of it all they will ban Ciftci and turn down our appeal over Virgil's red card. In a usual SFA saving face operation. Celtic release will release a statement being disappointed about the outcome and the * in the media will back the SFA decision before endlessly commenting "We signed up to the rules in the first place"

Connolly needs to be banned. That dive was as bad as Derk's.

Can they reduce Virgils red to a yellow? And if so would he still be out for the replay?
Problem with the dive is there are only 2 angles being shown, with neither of them can you see whether Stokes touched him or not, I don't think he did as he pulled out but the SFA will probably use it as an excuse.

If you go by letter of law there could have been 6 reds. Brown, Van Dijk, Ciftci, Butcher, Dixon and McGowan (his tackle on Stokes was worse than Browns which people say is a red). What should happen, Ciftci and Dixon banned, the rest should play. Connolly should also get a ban considering he dived for the pen and at least once before that.

Paton should stay banned just for being a wee *

Did nothing ever come from Paton assaulting Zaluska?

    The linesman is Zaluska's auntie's neighbour's pal long-lost relative.

    Retribution * *!!!!

It was a case of mistaken identity. It was actually desperate dan that punched Zaluska.

    Easy mistake to make.

For those who are in love.....
Broony questioned on if his tackle sparked it and he just said it was a great tackle and he won the ball  And the ref was 5 and linesman 10 yards away and they both had no problem with it :56:
Asked about the alleged kick and he halted them saying, no he kicked me, everyone can see it clearly. Was class there..

So far we're to appeal Virgil's at 3.
    United have appealed patons already.
They won't appeal the red for the handball..
