I have a horrible feeling that Sunday will one of those games that nothing seems to click. The team only really started to perform when Armstrong and gms were introduced to the first team. Without them we are ordinary to say the least. We do have adequate back up but they haven't had game time! Dundee United will treat this as a cup final! Can see it being frustrating from beginning to end unfortunately!!

    Scepovic might be involved

He wasn't involved with the development game today and he usually seems to be these days

This looks about right to me. Get ambrose to * , fischer is a conventional right back and can do a good job . Forrest needs to be nowhere near it , and i pray Commons is fit .

A little worried about this one, think it will be tight, they will be a bang up for it after we ruined them by taking their two best players.

Jackie will have them up for it on a tricky surface. We have a good record there but we played well there earlier this season and still lost.

We will need to be on it from the start.

    Gordon

    Wakaso
    Virgil
    Denayer
Mathews if fit Efe if not.

    Bitton
    Brown

    Stokes
    Johansen
Commons if fit if not Henderson

    Griffalo

Apparently not according to the BBC.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31757535

''United play Celtic in Sunday's Scottish Cup quarter-final at Tannadice.

However, Ciftci will miss the League Cup final against Celtic on 15 March due to a previous suspension incurred in that competition.''

As always in a domestic game we will be starting strong favourites . If seven or eight of our players play near the top of their game and unless the rest mess-.up very badly , I think we will win at ease . Dundee Utd are going down hill fast this year .

I'm glad we had our blip before this game. It should be enough to wake us up and see of Dundee Utd.

What our front 4 will be though, I'm not sure. Possibly this:

    ...............Griffiths...............
    Commons Johansen Hendersen

That should do the trick. We're not going back to Tannadice and losing again. Especially not in the cup.

I'd rather that than the cup final. We can field a better team for the league games (Armstrong & GMS).

Dundee United's Nadir Ciftci avoids two-match ban

Dundee United forward Nadir Ciftci has avoided a two-match ban following a disciplinary tribunal.

Ciftci was accused of breaching Scottish FA disciplinary rules by striking Inverness defender Gary Warren "upon his neck or head with your arm".

The 23-year-old challenged his offer of a two-game suspension and, at Thursday's hearing, the outcome was stated as: "Breach not proved".

United play Celtic in Sunday's Scottish Cup quarter-final at Tannadice.

However, Ciftci will miss the League Cup final against Celtic on 15 March due to a previous suspension incurred in that competition.
