As long as all those other clubs get fined as well for there fans letting of flares then flare enough.

This excuse of others do it so why can't we is utter tripe.

Celtic are getting fined so just don't do it. We could end up copping more than a fine next time

 

bottom line celtic have said to the fans no to do this! but they still do it. but compared to other games last night that was minor as you get. seems to me the teams over this way get hammered more than the other teams in Europe

It's not though. If the use of flares is banned by UEFA then every club that has fans that use them should be fined otherwise it is just a complete joke.

I'm no really bothered about flares either way.

 

heres a thought, just dont * light flares regardless of whether other teams do it or not and whether they get fined or not.

theres enough whataboutery surrounding our club for us to start using it in this context now too.

it'll get to the point where UEFA will hit us with a stadium ban which would be a killer for us, given the effect our fans have on our team and the opposition.

and we can hardly claim that we have been unfairly treated by UEFA in recent times given what happened with the Legia result, so conspiracy theorists should maybe back down on this one

i cant see the on-field discipline charge sticking though, referee is notoriously card happy so we cant be held accountable for that

 

Fair enough. I personally think it is because we should focus on celtic. That's who I care about. Not galatassaray or Milan or any other club. Celtic are getting pumped with fines for really avoidable actions.

 

Its a * joke,5 yellows in a game and it triggers uefa into action.

1 of those yellow was for a keeper in a team needing to score a goal or go out and he was time wasting.
Hope celtic appeal all the cards dished out as a protest against this clown of a ref.

As for the flares,how else is uefa to pay for all its lunches if its not dishing out fines....that is why the fines are so small...payable but not enough to make the clubs take action.

 

Brilliant just brilliant. Ban the wee * and take him to court for the money. As for those who support him in his right to set off a flare, I assume you will be sending money to Celtic to help pay for the coming fine then. (lets hope that's all we get).

 

It's got nothing to do with conspiracy theories. Do you think every club that had fans that had flares last night will be fined ? If the answer to that is no can you explain it ?

I would be amazed if the on the field one wasn't upheld. I hope you are right but think that is hugely optimistic ( love to be wrong on that.)

 

probably not, but spurs were charged for fans coming on to the pitch and im sure every other team where the same thing happened didnt get charged.

kiev were charged for having a banner referencing crimea but im sure every other team where a provocative banner has been displayed didnt get charged either.

by now everyone should know that UEFA will chuck fines at pointless and mostly harmless activities all the time, without any real consistency. but there will almost certainly be a minority looking at things thinking it is a conspiracy against us, which it isnt. thats all i was getting at.

 

Ban the * for life and then send them the bill to cover the costs of the fine.


No time for idiots that continue to tarnish Celtics good name.

it * me off when were gettin warned time and time again to not do it,why are we still doing it,when our clubs gettin fined,and a possible stadium ban??

we have so much to lose with the qualifiers comin up.why the * do some of our fans have the need to light flares.
