Fair enough if you make decent stops = 9, personally i'd equate that to an average game. Personally, i don't think any Celtic player deserved a 9. None of them totoally dominated the game at all.

    Boruc - 6
    Caldwell - 7
    Elvis - 6
    Mick - 6
    O'Dea - 7
    McGeady - 6
    Brown - 7
    Hartley - 7
    Donati - 5
    Jarosik - 6
    McDonald - 6

I don't think anybody was exceptionally good, but i don't think anybody was terrible.

pretty dire game. We didn't even try after going one nil down. I would have liked them to go all out after conceding 3-0 is just as bad as 1-0 so why not give it a go.

I think WGS did give it a go by going 2 up front when he brought on Zurawski, but the players did not respond.

If we sell JJ in January, we will end up having to play Sno a lot more. Unless we can replace him with better we maybe shouldnt sell.

i totally agree sno isnt good enough to play at that level we cant rely on him so unless we can find a replacement JJ must stay!

Jarosik was at fault for the goal.He gave the ball away then didn't bother to track Cafu's run. That was dissapointing.

I agree, it was like Saturday's goal against Hearts when McDonald gave the ball away, then stood about with not a care. Still rather have Jarosik than Sno though.

possibly but sno was careless and gave the ball away in dangerous positions when he came on. he does that in alot of games. he has the potential to be a good player but i dont think we can play him every week and JJ is our best option until WGS can get someone else in

I highly rate Strachan as our manager but tonight the tactics were completely wrong. We allowed Milan to control possession and the tempo and in that situation, away from home, you're odds on the loose it was only a matter of time.

Our attacks were completely isolated, McDonald & McGeady kept getting isolated because other players werent getting forward quick enough or not at all. And if he was going to play defensively, why didnt he tell the bhoys to pass it about, keep possession and dictate the tempo, instead of letting McGeady run into dead ends and to a isolated targetmen.

He needs to learn from this mistake or he'll never break the away day 'hoodoo'. Our players could have played alot better than they did tonight if they were instructed better. I know hindsight is an exact science but I could see it as the match progressed and I bet he did aswell, there are a few lessons for Strachan to learn from this match about away european matches.

Boruc - 8 - Solid despite his injury
Caldwell - 6 - Made some unforced errors
    Pressley - 7 - Never looked exposed
McManus - 8 - Solid as a rock, clean last ditch tackle on Kaka' in the 1st earns him 8
O 'Dea - 6 - Looked vulnerable defensively all match
Jarosik - 7 - Protected O'Dea in the 1st half very well but Cafu ran riot in the 2nd could have helped O'Dea better
Hartely - 6 Played ok but could have blocked the square ball for the goal
Donati - 6 -Played ok but had spells where he went missing
Brown - 6 - Played alright but missed Celtic's best chance very badly
McGeady - 8 - Did what he does best but no support to capitalize on his work, good defensively too
McDonald - 5 - Not his fault but he couldn't get into the game, isolated completely for very long spells

Subs: Sno - 4 - Calamity, mistakes and unnecessary fouls. Last minute block on Kaka' was the only good thing he did.
Hesselink - 4 - Isolated like McDonald, only got touches when Zurawski can on. Should have gotten that header on target at least.
Zurawski - 4 - Ineffective but JVOH only got some touches whilst he was on the field.

The problem wasnt really any one player but how as a team the attacks didnt get the support they needed to have any chance. 40 minutes before our first shot on goal, brutal.

Jarosik was terrible tonight, can't agree with anyone otherwise. Dallied on the ball far too long at least 5 or 6 times which is a joke at this level.

I have no vendetta at all against him either as i think of the last 5 games Celtic have played he's been a shout for MOTM in 4 of them.

However, at the end of the day, * player ratings and talking * WE ARE THROUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and before the mighty Glasgow Rangers as well on their so called tremendous European run. The Scottish media can now stick that in their orange pipes and smoke it.
