After another * weather game just back in from the game and happy but still feel we could have really put 6 or 7 past Aberdeen.

First 30 minutes I thought we were poor and allowed the Dons too much time on the ball. After the first goal we looked a different side, especially in the second half. Although we scored another three it could and should have been a total rout. The number of times we had 3 v 1 and managed to * up scoring was unbelievable.

End of the day though delighted with the win and surely a win on Wednesday will see us take another massive step towards retaining the title.

    Just in from this.

Echo most comments, poor first half, and the sheep actually looked dangerous. I was impressed with McGinn, didn't realise he had so much pace. And Flood got far too much of the ball.

Second half, different story though. Great work from the bhoys, GMS and Armstrong look like they have been here for months as opposed to weeks. Could have been 5 or 6, should have really, very questionable decision making with those breakaways. Guidetti needs to have a wee look at himself, desperately needs a goal to get his confidence up.

Overall, delighted with the three points and putting them in their place.

PS- loved seeing Jay get his award and bang a goal in at half time, had the crowd in the palm of his hand! Great stuff wee man.

Greay result and quality to get it up the sheep!

Got to say I don't see the hype with Guidetti though, big donkey.

I was really hoping to see Wakaso come on at some point, his pace and energy levels would have caused Aberdeen problems. Thought he might have started at LB today. I don't understand how he gets so little time under Ronny, he has the energy to carry out Ronny's pressing game and has the work rate. He is better at defending than Izaguirre in my opinion.

Very happy day, 4-0 is a great result. Could have been more but doesn't matter our goal difference far superior anyway. I think Armstrong and GMS have done really well since coming in, GMS is particular gives us something a bit different to the team. A bit of trickery. Hopefully another win versus St Johnstone and 9pts.

Thought he should of came on instead of Stokes as well, Logan was so out of his depth and Wakaso's pace and skill it would of been easy for him. He's a weird one though Wakaso, can play well and score screamers then just play *. Don't think he'll be staying so Ronny will be focusing on the attacking players to get used to the system that will be here next season, so it's understandable.

Celtic were superb in the second half today and a special mention for GM Steven, his work rate over 90 mins is something else, he looks * at the final whistle of every game, runs himself into the ground.

Aberdeen worked it well in the 1st half thought up until the goal they were the better team we struggled to get into the game. Like last week we came onto our game in the 2nd half and after the 2nd goal Aberdeen fell away, should have had a few more goals but indecision put paid to that. Johansen scored but had one of his poorer games and Ambrose isn't a left back but he did his best.

Aberdeen outplayed us for the first half hour today, but once we got going it could easily have ended up 7-8.

We wasted some amount of chances going through 3 on 1.

    Great second half performance though.

Newswriter comment on that very subject on today's match report is very apt. Worth reading once it's published. :icon_mrgreen:

I just think that Wakaso fits the system better than Stokes. Wakaso was a standout for Ghana during the AFCON, I believe he deserves to play a bigger part than he currently is. He seems to be the kind of player that Ronny would love due to his pace, tireless workrate and the energy that he possesses, I just don't understand why he doesn't get more game time. I think he would be a fantastic attacking LB for us in the SPL, Izaguirre just doesn't seem to have any real consistency with his game, especially his crossing! The only place I think that Stokes could fit in is the lone striker but he is miles behind Griffiths for that role and I don't that he has the fitness or pace to play that role.

Just back from the game, brilliant 2nd half and come back here to see Logan's wee bird Hibby all over the place.

Booing Logan? After he was on twitter revelling and taking the * out of Tonev? I'll have me some of that all day long.

If he was racially abused, and won, his case, you think he's have the mindest to feel justified but move on quickly and put it behind him.

But Logan? Naw, he had to be all over twitter lording up his "result" and openly mocking Tonev.

    * Logan and all who sail in her.

Oh, and a wee ban for Hibby hahahaha :bbpd:

Loving Ronny even more, those Ronny roars at the end, yes! Usually everyone slopes off at the whistle but I was stood there with everyone else waiting for my "roar." Party central at CP these days. Love what he's brought to us, love it :celt_2: :shamrock:
