The scary thing is is that there are many young adults and teenagers that have these ideals and that are being misguided out here in London. Loads.

There is no such thing as "Catholic schools" these days, not in the sense of the phrase anyway.

People of all colours and creeds went to my kids schools (primary and secondary) and Religious Education consisted of learning about all religions.

Obviously when communion, confirmation etc came around, only the Catholic kids would take part but that is where the differences ended.

People screaming for an end to faith schools are just pandering to bigots or are bigots themselves. Catholic schools seem to produce more people tolerant of other views than Non Denom schools as well.

Maybe everyone should go to Catholic schools, problem solved.

I did but you don't get a chance to learn about Atheism which should be if done if your going to do all religion's( even if it isn't one ) I think it should be a subject you have a choice in doing also not like the way over here even if it was replaced with Philosophy I could accept that be much more informal to

Maybe when we're not called pedophiles or grown men are not chanting about being up to their knees in our blood. Then we might not need Catholic schools.

But, of course, it's all the Catholic schools fault in the first place.

That people with Religious beliefs are wrong. Something that they lack evidence for.

As you said "the biggest bigots" ask for that and as I have said its what I would do, it seemed a fair enough assumption to make, so thats why I posted what I did.
    I'm sorry I assumed :50:

You're not a bigot Tim, you just pander to them.

Catholic schools are all over the world and don't have a problem with bigotry/sectarianism.

I think you need to look elsewhere for the root of the problem in this country.

I am disappointed nobody here wants Agnosticism taught at school. As a agnostic I would ace that part of the exam. All the answers would be the same. I dont know:smiley-laughing002:

That's what I'd want to. we need a complete reconstruction of the education system not just the religious module
