Inter's defence is horrendous at times.

I haven't said you are a bad side, but you should be a he'll of a lot better considering the players, manager and money you have. None of that beats 110% commitment though. Best hope you have a good run in the league, because you're going out the Europa on Thursday.:bbpd:

For me an area we can get joy from is Rannochia. Anything in the air to challenge for he's comfortable with, but otherwise he can be exploited. He struggles tracking movement and not blessed with great pace. We got a load of joy in the gaps between him and Campagnaro in the 1st game(indeed the same happened between Jesus and Santon as well)He also didn't cope well with holding a high line for a spell, probably because he was worried about the ball in behind.

As already mentioned by others the Inter defence is disjointed at present. They don't appear to have a settled group, Santon looked suspect last week. Vidic may come in but the last time I seen him play (3-1 defeat to Sassuolo), he looked half the player he was at Man United(although they had a young lad in at right-back, who got a hard time).

Midfield to Front they are much more impressive. I don't think they will change much, they may look to counter more given the score line. Although I've rarely seen Mancini set out a team to be solely defensive minded like we see on a regular basis at domestic level.

I don't see it being another 3-3 but it should be an interesting night nonetheless.

The diagonal ball infront of there back four or to the back post seemed to get us a lot of joy particularly in the second half. I'd use that particularly if our full backs attack as much as they did and can fling it in

There won't be any problems. That's the blue half of Glasgow you have to worry about.

As for being drunk at 10am - you can't stop that haha. But don't worry, iut's always a good drunk - the friendly and welcoming Scottish drunk that the world has grown to love and admire.

I can see us conceding because of a light penalty in the first 10 minutes.

But I am sure we can score two goals in the second half. :50:

Seriously, I really hope the game is not lost after 10 minutes. I am more optimistic now than before the home game (as I thought we would lose that one), but still fear a big anti-climax.

I'm not worried about you, I'm worried about us. And for us I mean Italians, not the Inter side, especially if you'll win. Last week we had problems with Feyenoord fans, I know you're not the same but maybe police will be on alert.. Just two things more: in Duomo there's no pubs, maybe you'll find ambulant sellers rising prices. Be aware of that. If you want to gather after the game I think the best option is Colonne di San Lorenzo (Metro 2) or Arco della Pace (no metro, but easily reachable) which are usually the spots where to have fun. Near arco della pace there's also the 442 pub, which is pretty good.
At last, do not try to take the metro after 6pm. People starts to come back home from work, it is already almost impossible to get in in normal days..I wonder how could it be with 5000 of you around!

    Cheers for the info.

Let's hope for a peaceful day and a good game (and that the best team on the park, not on paper, may win). :50:

What's the attendance expected to be? A half empty san Siro would certainly help us.

Highest attendance was 46k versus Stjarnan (The team that beat Motherwell)
    Average is 33k.

They still have to play AC, Juve, Roma and Fiorentina.

Until then we ought to be their biggest game.

Our away form in Europe is frightening. Even from Martin O'Neils days. Something that has not changed no matter the team/manager.

    Inter 2 - 0 Celtic.

Winning away has always been a struggle for us. However if we are ever going to get good at it its gonna be with this new style. Be fitter faster and score more than the opposition. Lets go there and give it a real go. Dont want to see us revert to park the bus tactics and doubt we will but sensible attacking and we could find away thro to the next round.
