yeah, some engine on him as well. Good attributes for a full back

Can't see him having the best defensive attributes though. Defos wouldn't play him at LB against a big European team but perhaps against an SPL shiter.

yeah agreed, don't think he'd be much good at LB against teams like Inter, seems to lack some intelligence with positioning etc. I think he'd be capable at LB against SPFL teams but for me, his best position is in centre midfield, in a box to box role or in a holding role like he plays for Ghana.

I thought he played well but didn't receive enough of the ball. Anytime he ran at them they did not look comfortable at all.

We should have looked to exploit that more and more.

    Really?

I don't think he has the brain or is big enough for that. Is he that good a passer? Will he win the ball back?

I'd just have him running up and down the wing all game long.

And we already have 2 class holding midfielders.

He's best in a box to box role but still better as a holding midfielder than as a winger for me, there's other attributes to being a holding midfielder than just positioning.

He played defensive mid at his old club.

Yeah he wouldn't be my first choice as a holding midfielder, but his aggression and combativeness is partly why I think he'd be good in the centre, from what I've seen of him for Celtic but more with Ghana he certainly does like a tackle, passing's not great but if he can keep it simple it's worth a try IMO. His crossing is poor and decision making hit and miss, which is why I don't like him on the wing.

Agree, wouldn't want him there in a big hard game, but at home an the way I expect us to play with our full backs likeep wingers in our 2-2-6 roar formation

Didn't Wakaso play in the center of the park for Ghana? He was named to the best 11 for the AFCON. I like the idea of giving a few guys a rest. Matthews ran like a madman on Thursday. Brown was everywhere. It's not like we'd be replacing these guys with a bunch of chumps. We're talking about full internationals (Forrest, Wakaso, Commons, Tonev, Stokes, etc.). Hamilton is decent, but we should have enough. Maybe give three or so starters a rest. And bring some subs on around 60.

Scepovic could do with some playtime, then on ther other hand so could guidetti.

Hope ronny rests some players and maybe do a wee bit experimenting.

hamilton are struggling recently, i think we should rest a few players and give some other fringe players some game time.. the atmosphere will also be lacking and we have some tough games coming up

we have a big squad do lets use some of them in matches where we should be comfortable.. i would start guidetti and have scep on at half time. Play bitton but rest Broony, and hopefully commons canget 30 mins.

comfortable 2-0 win and let the players keep some energy for next week.

Hattrick for Guidetti, calling it now.

Could see him scoring 1 or 2 against Hamilton as well if he starts :icon_mrgreen:
